The Server Bazaar and Server Bazaar categories is the place for finding and advertising communities and services. This post is an overview of rules that apply for these categories. Please note that the forum rules, our Platform License Agreement and Rockstar Games Community Guidelines also still apply to this category.
Topic limit
The bazaar category has a topic limit. You are only allowed to have one topic in this section. This limit is per server and per user, which means you are not allowed to advertise the same server with multiple members of your community.
If you want to advertise another community please either edit your current topic, or flag the topic to moderation for deletion.
Bumping
Bumping your bazaar topics is allowed, however you must follow a few basic rules listed below when bumping your topics.
- Only bump topics if there’s been no activity within the last 24 hours.
- Whenever bumping include worth reading information in your post, don’t just post “Daily bump”. For example try to include:
- Latest community news. Anything important that has happened within your community that’s worth sharing.
- Progress updates. What you are actively working on within your community that people can look forward to in the (near) future.
- Screenshots/media. Post a few screenshots showing off specific features about your community. This can also include videos or other media assets.
Topic quality
Make sure to put some time into your bazaar topics, add a meaningful description and screenshots/videos where applicable. Nearly empty bazaar topics will usually be ignored by users, and may be subject to removal.
User interaction
While interacting on bazaar topics please make sure to follow the forum rules, our Platform License Agreement and Rockstar Games Community Guidelines. Posting hateful comments is not allowed. If you see a problem, flag the comment and do not reply to it.
This also includes replying to other topics posting negative reviews or inciting conflict. These replies will be deleted. If you are experiencing difficulties with a server, contact the server owner by sending them a message.
If you believe the server is doing something against the Platform License Agreement or something malicious in any other way, flag the topic for moderation attention for a staff members to investigate or fill a report on our support website.
