FD Radio V2 - A Radio with Ranges/ Lockable channels / Jammers

Today we would like to introduce our V1 Radio successor. We heard our customer feedback, and adjusted radio to fit them. V2 introduces better self made design, self made custom props, more features, more optimised code and a lot more. Probably is this the only radio you will ever need.

v1.0.10 - Released

  • Fixes whitelisted channels joining issue.

Honestly a game changer for RP servers everywhere, if it wasn’t for the range aspects alone its the jamming features and the user lists. this isn’t just a radio this is a tool for providing some great RP opportunities to your users. grabbed it a few days ago and was easily setup. Extremely well made and great support from the author.

Follow up, Had requested a changeover in a feature for users, was promptly added within 12 hours, honestly cannot say enough good things about the dev and how well this is setup.

v1.4.0 - Released

  • Features:
    – Better item checking handling for qb-core (includes ox_inventory support);
    – Better pma versions and exports handling;
    – Added additional checks to check if user is in spectator mode, so he won’t be affected by ranges;
    – If moving enabled while radio is open, added disabling inventories & hotbars for known inventories (qb-inventory, quasar inventory, ox inventory);
    – Added external user list, it can be toggled via radio it self;

  • Bugfixes
    – Rewrote submix’es handling, which means radio doesn’t override volume anymore and uses submix to mute players instead. Because it was causing weird issues to audio and volume it self being not resynced properly;
    – Tweaked longest range submix, to make sounds equal;
    – Disabled buggy outline while focusing frame;
    – Fixed very rare issue for infinity users where server doesn’t replicate user state bags fast enough and it causes wrong channel being displayed;
    – Fixed random gaps between screen and frame;
    – More random typo fixes and etc.;

v1.8.2 released

Update includes:

  • New frame. We’ve had a lot of requests to use more used frame in other radios, so we’ve drawn our version of it.
  • Now out of the box radio supports single and multiple items for the radio. Make sure to tweak your config for it. At the moment we support ox_inventory and qb_inventory, these functions were moved to their appropriate files, so make sure to check that. I’m sorry about other inventories, but you’ll have to add useables items your those yourself.
  • Added ability to log connect/disconnect events.
  • Added ability to check who in radio channels at the moment. Command fd_channels_info only available from server console, it will print out channels and player sources who are in those channels.
  • Added ability to extend range with an item, make sure to check config for that.
  • Fixed and tweaked some UI stuff, where for example mic while highlighting speaking player was glued to the name.
  • Fixed and issue where player coords are not known or speaking triggered too soon.
  • Fixed an issue where key bind was mapping even though command is disabled.
