[Free] [ESX/QB] Vehicle Mileage & Vehicle Wear

Saw something similar being listed as a paid script, so decided to spend 5 minutes making my own with some unique features such as vehicle damage and release it for free for the community since it is xmas.

Currently vehicles over 50,000 miles will obtain damage, it will trigger when player check miles etc and damage can be applied over time. For testing the damage is currently set to -4000 to apply instantly but you can change this to make it tick slower.

  • Store Vehicle Mileage In Database

  • View Miles & Kilometers in game via command (/checkmiles /checkkm)

  • High Mileage vehicles will become damage forcing repairs

  • Easily adjust damage amounts and times via open source code

The database will increase the mileage value after every mile you have driven, you can adjust this as you please. But remember you do not want server events and database being updated often as it can cause lag

How is it “standalone” if it requires one or the other?

Do not fear, I have updated the title to ensure no confusion

I’d rather just have it standalone. But, looking at your code, all you are using the framework for appears to be notifications. I can work with that.

This dude has made and released this for free so people like you can do w.e with it. No need for rude comments, a simple thank you is a great way to show appreciation .

 Personally this has helped me alot to setup my own style of vehicle wear! so thanks bro I appreciate what u done big time!

I do not see my comment as rude. Yes, I would prefer standalone. Yes, I can work with it. Since it’s really only the notifications, even a code novice, someone like myself, can make edits to his open source resource and get it to work in his server environment. Good stuff.

I am not rude, I am direct. :smirk:

I really like it, good work, good character, thx!
