[How-to] Use Extended Video Export (EVE) | FiveM

yes, and I use it in window mode

Read above, desktop resolution and game resolution needs to be different. Having them at the same resolution will cause a crash. Read posts above.

You could do 1920x1080p desktop res, then put the game at 2560x1440p. Use NVIDIA DSR or DLDSR to upscale

ah ok, I’ll try doing this now and i say something

continues to crash

i changed the res and put fullscreen

using the lastest EVE that was sent here? this one https://drive.google.com/file/d/15ldcOE8iTnXMY8IvabrlyejOittZR5-D/view 16

yes I’m using that

That’s not quite true. It’ll mostly crash if you export in windowed mode rather than Borderless/Fullscreen. The last clip I posted was rendered in 4K desktop and ingame resolution. I’ve tried 1080p too and it also worked.

can make a video showing how to install? I don’t know if I did anything wrong.
I followed in the steps all

Send the .log file located in the cache/subprocess/EVE folder. Also make sure to install it the same way as the OP in the very first post.

ExtendedVideoExport.log (2.6 KB)
I think I installed everything right, I did as it was in the post

You’ve got VOUKODER installed?

[2023-02-10 19:10:53] ERR 0x08B0 config.h (line 109): Failed to load preset.json, loading default values for encoder!
[2023-02-10 19:13:56] ERR 0x0768 encoder.cpp (line 91): Failed to open Voukoder context. ### error code: -2147467259
[2023-02-10 19:13:56] ERR 0x0768 script.cpp (line 500): Failed to open Voukoder context.

Download the latest Voukoder and C++ provided by Akkariin ([How-to] Use Extended Video Export (EVE) | FiveM - #137 by Akkariin) and also the settings.exe tool ([How-to] Use Extended Video Export (EVE) | FiveM - #164 by Akkariin).
Drop the .exe file inside the EVE folder, then execute and apply your desired settings.

Once you’re done, it’ll generate a .json file next to the executable. Copy and paste the settings.json file inside the root GTAV/EVE folder (assuming you installed it like the OP said). If it keeps crashing, try changing the path where your clips save.

Edit: And make sure all .ini/.json files from both GTA and FiveM folders are the same.

Anyone knows why when I finish exporting in 4K it crashes out of nowhere at 99%? Rendering is perfect and obviously takes a long time but every time i try to export any type of video the same thing happens.
I have the files from Akkariin (FiveM n GTA 5), the last voukoder, my c++ is updated and i use the CTNZ presets

Check your output directory in the config, make sure the path don’t have any space, non-English characters and special symbols. If the output directory is empty, you can try to set a value for it, but make sure the path is existed (You can create the folder manually).

I tried to change the output folder and the same thing happened, it rendered completely but it still crashes at the part where the black screen and the “loading” circle appear

anyone else still having issues with Escrowed Maps? I can’t edit anything w.o my stuff crashing out with/without eve

Like me man the same broo is :pleading_face:

Have you found how to fix it yet? It’s stressful how you can render everything but it just crashes on the black screen

Idk man I try like no MP4 I try AVI or MKV and see but my problem its just like your and
I try to export video 20 sec or 30sec no problem but when I try to export video 1 min and 30 sec video rendering all and when need to see the screen successfully exported it’s crash and I see this window
