    The bow is a first-of-its-kind experimental project where the entire projectile behavior and physics are created using meta files, replicating the original GTA V mechanics.
  • :loud_sound: Custom Sound Effects:
    The bow includes an addon sound in .awc format.

    • Holding animation: Repurposed from the rocket launcher.
    • Reload animation: Uses the rocket launcher reload animation.

    Shooting sound effects are integrated using .dat151.rel and .dat54.rel files.

    Fully custom models designed specifically for this bow.
  • :rocket: Projectile Configuration:
    • Arrow trajectory is configured through projectile.meta.
    • Physics and flight path are entirely managed via meta files.

    Ricochet mechanics are enabled using flags in projectile.meta.

To-Do List:

  • :pushpin: Fix Arrow Impact Behavior:
    Currently, the arrow does not stick to targets upon hitting or killing. This is due to limitations in GTAs native mechanics.

      If this cannot be resolved within meta files, a script-based solution will be implemented in the near future.

Yes, in the future there will be more complex arcs that look more modern.

In addition, there is a crossbow in the plan :slight_smile:

I am surprised that the bow is so popular with customers, so it will be worth making a couple of versions so that everyone can find something for themselves

What is the difference between this weapon addon and this other option?

my bow is not a script. It is made like other weapons in GTA, i.e. based on metafiles. Additionally, the projectile’s projection causes it to fall.

I have a crossbow left to make, I will probably finish it this week. After the crossbow I’m taking on the script for the arrow to stay in the body :slight_smile: So if there are no complications it will be done by the end of the weeks

I was testing it on a server where I saw that they had it, the bow could be a little smaller, it is gigantic in comparison with the body is just as big as the character, I think it would be more realistic if the model was smaller, it would be better in the hands.

but apart from that, if you add a script for the arrows and make it smaller it would be perfect, congratulations for the great work, lots of encouragement with the upcoming projects.
