Hi to everyone!
Here we are. Someone leaked an old dev version of the square and is reselling it. As It was a dev version none of the models were for GTA. A lot were missing also, of course. Textures are not the ones i made, as i was making textures when it’s been leaked. The leaked map is a very fps drop thing because i need to keep the models in a certain way due to my workflow, and because of my workstation can’t let me feel any change anyway when in power mode.
Despite all, that version is the only one that you can find online, as this project was intended as a proof of my skills to myself. But many people reached me with compliments and requests on the map, and this is not my way of making things, it not rapresents the Atelier and the love I try to put into my maps for the community.
And so i understood that the best thing i could do is to give the real access to the map, because some of you really want this thing out, and I didn’t realized that.
So, here some features of the map:
- SLOD3 level lods (7 different models), with level-based optimized textures (HD is 1024x1024) as more than that is unuseful. The map can be seen from the sky, and statues and details will appear based on distance. You’ll never see Legion again, but from the helicopter you will not load any detail that anyway you can’t see. So 0 fps drops, with any machine.
- Specific Roman statues are replicas, made by me.
- Optimized, the map counts up to 12 custom details, 4 different roman gods models 3 different type of pools, the obelisque and all the other minor custom models, some baked details, 7 different models of lods and still 70 MB.
- Parallax textures for the ground to meet water paddles layouts and reflection on the floor.
- Italian based illumination, with the flag projected on the obelisque during night.
- Tested for almost a year on 200pl server with Italian car and eup packs.
- Fixed for 4/3 graphic packs, reality enhancer graphic mod, natural vision and so.
