this tool was developed to help server owners easily convert GTA5-Mods.com vehicles to FiveM resources easily and painlessly, the times of using OpenIV and hundreds of Notepads open is over.
this thread was recreated to keep everything structured some new iterations.
Without these installed, the application will not convert properly and certain aspects might not work as intended.
Installation Guide:
Download rpf2fivem.zip from the GitHub Releases page
OPTIONAL: Download the NConvert.zip from the GitHub Releases page if you'd like to use the texture resizing built in.
Extract the rpf2fivem.zip archive onto your desktop desktop
If you downloaded the NConvert.zip archive, extract it into the rpf2fivem folder.
And voĂla, you're done with the installation!
For a more detailed installation instruction or if having issues during the installation, please refer to the GitHub repository.
Usage Guide:
An easy to use guide on how to utilize rpf2fivem has been created in a thread, this guide includes screenshots and detailed steps on how to convert vehicles and add their helper information!
Information:
If any of the outputted folders are empty, just an fxmanifest.lua file and the stream folder, the program was unable to find a .rpf file and the vehicle is incompatible with this tool.’
The speed of the conversion process depends on your hardware and your network connection, but if it has been stuck for a very long time, please report this on the GitHub repository.
The NConvert folder IS nessecary for the texture downsizer to work.
If you are encountering issues with extracting .rpf files, please enable the “load encryption keys from gta executable” within rpf2fivem.
To utilize the qbx_core an qb-core vehicle list helpers, you need to enable the respective checkboxes in the application BEFORE adding any vehicles to the queue!
I will try to provide as much support as possible when I have the time to do so, but if I cannot respond, please submit an issue report on the GitHub repository and upload the latest log file and what vehicles you were trying to convert.
released an update that fixes an issue with resource manifests being wrong after conversion, both the files{} and data_file{} globbing was incorrect, and used single asterisks
update time again! released a patch for an issue with .ytd dictionaries had .dds files with spaces in their names causing the texture compression to crash rpf2fivem, if this issue still occurs, it should now be handled gracefully and not crash the entire conversion process!
and I will be implementing that feature soon, as I recently removed it temporarily due to issues with the conversion process, I will let you know once it’s back!
hi there, I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean convert vehicles to packs? as right now, you’ll convert the .zip, .rar or .7z files and gta5-mods vehicles to packs, that’s done automatically, but do you mean converting already fivem ready vehicles to a pack?
So much time saved, really fantastic.
It would be nice to have an option to create subfolders too, for example: stream → [asea] → and the data inside here, to keep things more organized in case something needs to be deleted.
the tool does convert archive files and gta5-mods links, but it currently does not organize multiple vehicles into one pack that are not being converted, as the tool only takes in archived vehicles from various sources and then compiles them into the fivem ready pack!
Hey,
I made a bunch of improvements to IT including:
Selecting multiple archives at ones and exporting to the AddonCarSpawner config that a bunch of people seem to use.
I also plan on making a exporter for esx SQL and rup Car spawner.
And it seems to Work for more Cars aswell now, might have Just been me updating nuget sources though tbh
Can we get in Touch or should i Just send a pr on GitHub?
