What differs us from the rest is the fact that all of our scripts are tested by hundreds of players before release. We run a roleplay server where everything gets âtestedâ for weeks before being relased to Tebex.
Bought it, no hesitation. Our server has a ton of maps, the only issue I see so far is with Gabz Impound, but is a really simple fix. For other projects with less mapping, this should practically be plug 'n play if you donât have anything for Bennyâs. Beautiful map, keepâem coming.
I have been waiting for a response to a simple question (regarding another MLO) since April 11th with no response. It seems their Discord support is totally dead, or they donât check tickets, so keep that in mind if you buy from them.
I had a ticket open with them as well for a while. Not everyone has quick response times, and sometimes its a better idea to ask on the forums, if your support topic isnât too sensitive. Ultimately, they responded with a very coherent solution and wrapped it up fairly quickly.
did you have to resolve the issue yourself, did you have to use codewalker or did they actually help you resolve the map conflicts by handing them the files?
I typically resolve all mapping conflicts myself. It really isnât the mapping creators obligation to account for the hundreds of other mappers making content and accounting for the specific variation for your server.
I had a ticket open for an opportunity I wanted to pitch them, so, un-related to any troubleshooting issues.
Some mappers can account for popular creators like Gabz, Patoche and Ambitioneers, but again, its a courtesy, not an obligation.
If you want to fix, load up Codewalker, switch selection mode to collisions, find the colision thatâs in the way. Figure out what .ybn it belongs to, search your server for that .ybn group all of the same ybn together and edit one single ybn to match the differences between all of them.
Youâre having an occlusion issue. Does it look terrible? Or do you not understand how to install and troubleshoot mapping issues and youâre projecting your ignorance onto the devs?
Steps to fix:
search for this file lr_sc1_occl_02.ymap
move all copies to your desktop
compare the differences of all copies one-by-one in codewalker
Make ONE copy that reflects all of the differences brought together into one copy.
Delete all copies of lr_sc1_occl_02.ymap from server AFTER YOU HAVE backed them up.
Stream the âcongruentâ copy youâve made.
Stop expecting devâs to fix your serverâs problems and fix them yourself. Youâll get a lot further by asking the right questions and working to be educated rather than being a d*** to the developers creating the content you canât.
