Firstly, I really love the script; it’s the best fishing system so far. However, it gets repetitive after a while. Here are some suggestions to make it perfect: Fishing Competitions:
Introduce timed fishing competitions that occur every few hours in the game. Players can gather at designated fishing spots to compete in catching the most fish within a set time limit.
To add more variety, consider rotating the competition locations and types of fish targeted, such as catching the biggest fish, the rarest species, or even a specific type of fish.
Random Fishing Events: These events could just occur with a pop up ui, or more in depth upto you.
Introduce small, random events that can occur while players are fishing to add an element of unpredictability. For example, a sudden rainstorm could affect visibility or make fish harder to catch.
Interactions like accidentally pricking a finger on a hook, tangling the fishing line, or having a fish struggle so much that it swallows the rod, just something to break it up a bit so it’s not as repetitive, (envi dumpsters do this well with their random events when dumpster diving)
Event Ideas:
Fish Migration: A sudden influx of a specific fish species appears in the area due to a migration event, making it easier or more challenging to catch them.
Fishing Duel: Two or more players within x amount of distance from each other both hook the same fish, and must compete against each other for the fish.
Lost Item: An NPC loses a valuable item in the water, and players can choose to help retrieve it with this hook for a reward or ignore the NPC.
Fishing Festival: A local fishing festival starts, with special limited-time bonuses or events related to fishing, such as unique fish species or contests, bonus exp gained during fishing etc. (could happen once a day or so)
Rogue Wave: A sudden wave hits the player, making them lose half health.
Cursed Fish Types: Players could catch fish that give temporary buffs, such as armor etc.
Night Fishing: Possible to change the amount of fish at night, or even new fish varieties that only come out at night time.

All the fishing line uses stolen assets from the game Russian Fishing 4, released more than 6 years BEFORE this script was released.
Everything else is perfectly fine as far as I know.
