No Home Page Color Screen... Still a Thing

So this use to not be a problem. And now it is a problem for a lot of people most of the time. I get this across two computers at least every third restart. No home page. No UI. Just GTA background behind color. At some point about two months ago you all created this error. But unlike most errors you create, this one is still here. Can’t be solved in Nvidia panel. It was never a thing before, until it was always a thing now. Not a feature… a bug.

I suspect it it caused by client startup timers, as my slower i3 is far more likely to have this error than my faster i7.

I’ve played fivem for years, and this had never happened previously. Now it happens to both my highend gaming computers, every other start.

And many more (note how this thread ends) do not find this to be a [Solution] Forcing FiveM/RedM to use your discrete GPU | Infinite Loading Fix

@Vulkan Lacking a Brain… Still a Thing

basically the summary here

you made this topic a personal message to who?

why is everyone hiding this error?

I made this a private message as nobody else on the forum is able to help you, it doesn’t help in any other category.

What error? Doesn’t make sense.

Just be patient please.

This error. Why was this hidden?

Please have a look at the control panel for your GPU. Alternatively search for “force discrete GPU on windows 8.1”

This error is an indicator of our best-kept secret: a top secret ██████ system.

This is not a laptop. The discrete GPU is disabled in bios on two very different highend gaming desktop pcs.

Perhaps that should be reworded, as that doesn’t solely affect laptop users. I’ve known a few desktop users it has helped.

The intermittent issue on desktop is 100% unrelated to the laptop issue.

Said issue, when occurring on desktop, is also caused by CEF, and not anything we have done to it. Go complain with them.

Perhaps my post should be unclosed, unhidden, and uninsulted. Given that this is not the same error as the other laptop error?

Thank you, for looking into this!
