Are you trying to disable crouching and crawling entirely? Or just the keybinds? I’m not understanding.
I’m in agreement with the crouching. I like stealth mode, it helps for sneaking up on animals when hunting, but being able to crouch is nice.
and no matter how I set up the crouch/stealth settings, I always stealth mode. When I double click l-ctrl, my character looks like they’re about to crouch, but then they go back into stealth.
@Keira liked one of my earlier posts after this about checking qb-smallresources, as that has some crouching and pointing related code.
Might be something you can look for?
Yeah definitely. Crouching esp, to override the crouch/stealth in this script
I’m still not really understanding the goal here. Are you trying to disable crouch or disable stealth mode? Are you trying to disable both?
Are you able to go prone and then crouch? Press left ctrl and see.
For future reference, rpemotes-reborn reopened the issues section of the repo that was originally closed in rpemotes. You can report issues with the resource there, which would be a good place for people to see and possibly address the issues
I want to be able to crouch separately from stealth mode.
I want prone just as is. I love it. Especially the diving into it.
So in the past, I’ve tried:
CrouchEnabled = true,
CrouchKeybindEnabled = true,
CrouchKeybind = ‘lcontrol’
CrouchOverride = true – because it explains that you won’t enter stealth mode. but I still go into stealth mode.
I noticed that if I set CrouchOverride to false, and I kind of spam left ctrl, I go into crouch for a moment, but back into stealth mode.
But yeah. If this isn’t something that I’m explaining correctly enough, I’d be happy to report the issue to the appropriate channel.
Currently installing the latest version and having a go at setting things up. Maybe I’m just missing something lol
I’ve noticed on my side this is also an issue, I wonder if we messed up something in our recent updates. Try clicking left ctrl, then wait a second and press left ctrl again, see if that puts you in stealth.
Will do some additional testing to see what’s going on.
I appreciate you being responsive and willing to look into it. I’ll try that out. And I will check back in a bit later. Thanks.
Yall ever think about adding poses to rpemotes?? Lots of servers get other menus for the poses and others of us enjoy them but prefer to use rpemotes, would be super cool for rpemotes to get poses! I’m not talking about the super PG ones that are in already, I’m more so talking along the lines of the gang emote menu poses. Would be super cool to see some of those get brought over to rpemotes
As long as the creator of the emotes are willing to give us rights to distribute them under GPL 3.0, we’re open to it. You can bring in any custom emotes you have through the custom anims.
@yoadrien @Keira a fix for the reported issue has been made along with some smaller fixes. Please let me know if it’s functioning as expected, and if you encounter any issues.
Make sure you disable/delete any other crouch related resources as well to avoid conflict.
The way it should work now is that when bound to the same key, you should go to stealth by ctrl, then go to crouch by double-clicking Ctrl, and then ctrl again to go back to standing.
1.6.2
Fixes:
- Removed Check that blocked transition from stealth to crouch
- Check for player state change during ragdoll
- Fixed typo in BLM sign
- Changed boba emote prop to fictional doggie do-nuts brand (IP reasons)
Going into stealth, but am not crouching when I hit L-CTRL twice. Here are my settings. And I made sure there were no other crouching luas in any other scripts.
The only difference for me is crouch override is set to false.
Try without it, and let me know if it works.
Please submit an issue on github for easier tracking of this, maybe someone else will be able to fix it before I get the chance to.
So the initial suggestion I had was to make /crouch enable or disable the couch command/animation when using ctrl. Like setting a toggle on/off for when you want to be able to use crouch or not.
Yes I’m trying to disable them entirely.
This, I have unbound the crouch keybind but I am still crouching with ctrl.
Kind of like how ragdoll is setup.
Cause the way it’s set up, it’s either stealth or nothing. Even when I do the command /crouch which is supposed to toggle it. My ped will go down to crouch and just instantly go back up. And then nothing.

OK, so you want a new feature where /crouch would lock out the crouch feature.
Please make a feature request on GitHub; it’s one of the formats under issues.
