Detailed feature description:

Employees

This section is dedicated entirely to managing your employees. Here, you can find key information such as the total number of employees and, if a employees limit is set for a specific business, it will also be displayed.

You will see a list of your employees with details including their online status, first and last names, and their current grade. Using the Manage button, you can access additional management options, such as:

  • Grant Bonus: Reward employees who excel in their roles.
  • Change Grade: Promote or demote employees.
  • Fire: Dismiss employees who fail to meet expectations.

Additionally, the Hire option allows you to recruit players nearby. This feature makes it easy to hire the closest player to join your business team.

Grades

The Grades section provides a comprehensive overview of all the grades within your business. By accessing the settings for each grade, you can configure various options, such as:

  • Grade Label (ESX only): Allow business owners to rename grade labels directly from the menu.
  • Salary (ESX only): Enable business owners to adjust systematic paycheck amounts.
  • Permissions: This highly customizable section lets you configure permissions for each grade according to your needs.
  • Employees: Section Access, Grant Bonus, Change Grade, Fire, Hire.
  • Clothing: Section Access, Create, Modify.
  • Safe: Section Access, View Balance, Withdraw, Deposit, Transfers, View All Transactions.
  • Announcements: Section Access.
  • Resumes: Section Access.
  • Business Taxes: Section Access.

This robust customization system ensures business owners have complete control over grade-specific capabilities, optimizing their workflow and efficiency.

Clothing

Create outfits for your employees or gang members in a highly detailed and intuitive manner. When you begin designing an outfit, a virtual ped will appear on the screen, allowing you to see the changes you make in real time. You can set up entire outfits or create individual accessories such as different hats or vests. When these items are equipped, only the selected accessories will be applied. This flexibility allows for combinations such as:

  • LSPD Outfit 1 (tshirt, torso, pants, shoes, arms)
  • FIB Vest (vest)
  • LSPD Vest (vest)
  • Sheriff Vest (vest)

For example, players could create combinations like LSPD Outfit 1 + Sheriff Vest or LSPD Outfit 1 + LSPD Vest.
Once you’ve completed the outfit, you will need to assign access to specific grades who can use each outfit.

Currently, we support the following clothing systems:

  • esx_skin
  • qb-clothing
  • fivem-appearance
  • illenium-appearance
  • rcore_clothing

If you use a different skin manager, you can easily customize it through the open configuration files by adding an event to load your private clothing.

Safe

Upon entering this section, you will immediately see your business balance along with an expenditure chart for the last 7 days. By clicking the Make Transaction button, you’ll be directed to a sub-section where you can view your company’s account address for receiving transfers. Additionally, you’ll be able to perform internal transactions such as deposit/withdraw and transfer between companies.

Yes! You can use the built-in account menu option to conduct transfers between different companies seamlessly.

All deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, transfers, and tax payments will be recorded in the Transactions sub-section. There, you will find detailed information about who performed the transaction, the amount, the transaction title, and the time it was completed.

If you don’t want to use the company’s built-in balance with Boss Menu, you don’t have to, but when you use an external script such as banks in it, you will lose access to the ability to withdraw, deposit, transfer between accounts and transaction history in the menu, but you can still award bonuses to employees, as you can connect your banking system using config.lua and config.server.lua.

Announcements

In this section, you have access to a News Panel. As a developer, you can utilize an export from our documentation that allows you to send messages to businesses. By default, this feature is used for VMS City Hall, enabling the tax office to send reminders about unpaid taxes.

This function allows for seamless communication between the government and business owners, ensuring important updates and reminders are effectively delivered.

Resumes (Only with VMS City Hall)

With VMS City Hall, you have the ability to submit your resume for specific jobs you’re interested in. Using this feature, the business owner or designated rank can review received resumes, enabling a more realistic recruitment process for hiring new employees.

This system enhances the hiring experience by allowing managers to properly evaluate applicants, ensuring that only the best candidates are chosen for the role.

Taxes (Only with VMS City Hall)

In VMS City Hall, we have implemented an advanced tax system, allowing you to integrate tax obligations into specific jobs. This means that, in addition to VMS jobs, you can now assign tax payments to any job on your server using VMS Boss Menu.

This feature enables employees to properly account for their income with the tax office, providing a realistic tax reporting system that enhances the gameplay experience.
