Version 2.3.1 is live! This update is focused on the gameplay balance, quality of life improvements, and bugfixes.

Please read below the changelog highlights.

CnR:NG Version 2.3.1 - Changelog

Gameplay Changes & Balancing

  • Removed Stun Gun
  • Added medical assistance bonus for nearby paramedics on player rescue calls
  • Added an animation for deploying spike strips on foot
  • Added /newplayers command for Guide team members, added /guides command for all new players
  • Nerfed the damage for Knuckle Duster
  • New Dance Style - you’ll have to find out which one!
  • Civilians killing civilians trigger a 4 second resisting arrest to prevent auto-arrest (previously was 1 min)
  • Lowered max jail time from 4 minutes to 3.5 minutes
  • Adjusted the payout for Cash Collection mission

Other stuff, Bugfixes & QoL

  • Fixed an issue that would not count rescue calls towards medics ranking up
  • Resisting Arrest for failing to pull over increased from 3 to 4 (and player must be unarmed)
  • Prevent players from placing a hit immediately upon arrest/death to avoid abuse
  • Drug Dealers may carry up to 12 drug seeds
  • Optimization for the Pacific Standard (Main Bank) vault sync
  • Police Officers with Patrol Division may also spawn at the LS Port Police Station
  • Fixed LS customs - paying for tire smoke even though you haven’t changed it
  • Fixed /siren for custom vehicles (e.g. Police T20)

  • Fixed /driver animation from playing if a player is jailed
  • Fixed a bug where police officers’ nametags would stay purple after death

  • QoL: confirmation check for random clothes/reset clothes

  • QoL: licenses will only be removed on arrest if holding endangered species in the inventory

Important: The removal of the Stun Gun may not be final. We are currently exploring different suggestions to find the perfect match for our game mode.

  • Added revenge system. Use /revenges to check personalized list of revenges related to you. With this, gameweek change is now history.
  • Taser is back… under certain conditions. No tasing felons that are armed (melee weapons excluded) or resisting arrest (red star)
  • Reworked/improved resisting arrest mechanics. Moreover, when resisting arrest is about to expire, the red star indicator starts blinking
  • Added New Restaurants across the map! These can be robbed or used for selling fish, game or both. New food items, with dynamic amount of HP they restore
  • Added various screen effects for completing a mission/robbery, based on the type of the activity
  • Added screen effects for STDs, Hospital STD Menu changes (dynamic prices based on disease type)
  • Added watches and bracelets as clothing items
  • Added several custom hairstyles and clothing items
  • Added Minimap size increase when you hold Vehicle Duck [X] key or tap [X] twice. Enable in /settings

This time, no new features. V2.6.1 is minor version - Balancing, small changes, adjustments etc. Here’s the changelog:

  • Holiday season on the server is over, Christmas update has been disabled, see you next year!
  • Reworked and reorganized disappearer mission: fixed some bugs, improved stability
  • Fixed some leftover bugs regarding vehicle insuring and saving
  • Fixed holdup mission bug abusing where one could rob more than 5 stores
  • Added some balancing on Benny’s Heist (wanted level handling)
  • Added a small delay to spike strips spawn when deployed from a vehicle
  • Removed all custom vehicles, peds and clothing assets created by DustyFlop. These will be slowly replaced at a later date.

Hello everyone, and apologies for the radio silence. It has been a while, but we are getting the year started!

Just a quick update:

The development team is currently working on the next version, and while the original plan was the Casino, this has changed due to a delay in the Casino games mechanics.

We have finally updated our Roadmap to reflect more realistic targets and features currently being worked on and considered by our team. We have also updated the Casino card for transparency.

The next version will include a full SERVER RESET (money, properties, vehicles, garages, etc.) - This is a requirement to accommodate our planned feature: Organizations (Organizations will have bank accounts. The details can be found at the Roadmap on the link below). Please note that Player Stats including Scores, Connected time, etc. WILL NOT be reset.

We don’t have a release date for the next version yet but we are considering early March 2024.
