Announcing Tebex Partnership - Server Monetization / Commerce '2.0'

Correct, as the command is sv_tebexSecret XXX for the built-in integration, and it goes in the config file.

By config you mean server.cfg where other sv_ commands go?

Because it doesnā€™t work. And yes, Iā€™m using quote marks

No such command tebex

Also, why isnā€™t sv_tebexSecret mentioned anywhere newcomers, like myself, could see it? Besides FiveM natives, is there some documentation, tutorial, anything? I looked everywhere I could, havenā€™t found anything.

It would go in the server.cfg. I couldnā€™t find anything in the docs either, but thatā€™s where those commands go. Be sure youā€™re on the latest server build.

Does it support PaySera payment method? Otherwise itā€™s not even worth to get Tebex for Lithuania country servers. Most servers go under ā€œblackmarketā€ to sell anything.

Hello @nta,

Would it be possible to discuss with you about Tebex partnership?

Thanks

Hi I have a question, thereā€™s a way to autorize our GTA server to donations without using Tebex? We have a Wordpress Page, so we can pay the taxs to FiveM if itā€™s necessary, but we want to use our web.

Have you a Wordpress Plugin Integration maybe?

You can still take donations however, only to cover the cost of running the server. You wont be allowed to profit unless using tebex/cfx commerce.

Still waiting for a reply unless cfx doesnā€™t care.

I mean you havenā€™t been banned yet for selling fivem resources. So, doesnā€™t look like there is much care.

You shouldnā€™t be contacting me about this regardless (let alone assuming I or anyone else will see a forum reply on a months-old announcement instantly), try @frenzy-renegade instead as seen in multiple recent announcements.

As to @ChieF-TroNā€™s completely unneeded reply, please keep opinions about ā€œcaringā€ and enforcement to yourself.

Thank you for your reply, have a nice day

CIao, I have some doubts about what has been written.

I understand that to sell and profit you must use tebex, so far ok.

I would like to understand what is possible to sell and what is not possible to sell, since in the past I had read that some things cannot be sold. Could you say clearly what server owners can sell? Thank you!

I was also wondering this and specifically I have these questions:

Is there a restriction on selling access to a vehicle (Dodge Charger, for example), or certain class of vehicles (sports cars, etc.)?

Is there a restriction on selling assets itself? (Disregard this question, answered here: Announcing Tebex Partnership - Server Monetization / Commerce '2.0')

As to @ChieF-TroNā€™s completely unneeded reply[/quote]

Not really unneeded, unnecessary, absolutely. Iā€™ve just seen too many people breaking ToS, and go by the wayside. Iā€™ve made it a strict point to stay within ToS and FiveM guidelines, and it just aggravates the shit out of me when Iā€™ve repeatedly reported ToS breakers and nothing is done. So, Iā€™m sorry for ā€œcaringā€ about the rules that youā€™ve put in place.

@ChieF-TroN , would you mind forwarding your reports to me? Iā€™ll have a look. We absolutely do enforce our ToS, but with all the emails and direct messages coming in, some slip out from our view. Happy to receive your reports!

Iā€™m a bit confused upon this, does this prevent the use of profit? Therefore may I not ask for donations to cover charges for the server for example, if theres 2 members who each donate $11 a month to payoff my zap hosting bill? Or may they continue this as they are paying expenses, not creating profit.

No. It allows profit, but only using Tebex.

Donations arenā€™t profit, so therefore you can have donations that donā€™t go through tebex, as long as it only goes toward your communityā€™s resources such as servers, etc.

Donations can certainly be profit. If you are paying Ā£500p/m in overhead costs and your userā€™s donate Ā£501p/m then you are profiting.

It is all income regardless of how it gets to you. It is just a requirement of Cfx that tebex is the platform to be used to monetize servers in order to profit without breaching tos.

Thatā€™s not how the donations work. If you collect a surplus for 1 month, just use it for server costs in the next month. Itā€™s not going to be considered profit unless you withdraw that excess dollar and use it for something not server related.

The Terms say:

cover immediate costs

Saving up over a longer timespan isnā€™t really immediate.
