AnimKit - Create your own custom animations for FiveM
Today, we are delighted to say we’re finally releasing a very anticipated tool.

For the last 2 months, @Disquse has been working on a set of tools that will create more opportunities for people’s creativity in modding.
Initial research on GTA 5 animations was made two years ago by @deterministic_bubble and Dexyfex (CodeWalker) but no tools were made based on those yet.
That all changes today! AnimKit adds support to create new or edit existing animations for GTA V and FiveM using Autodesk 3ds Max.
How to use AnimKit?
Disquse has written a very thorough tutorial on how to use AnimKit where you’ll learn how to install and use AnimKit.
Source code and compiled binaries can be downloaded from the AnimKit repository.
Contributions and bug reports are of course always welcome.
We can’t wait to see the amazing animations our community will come up with.

this is great but is there a reason tools like this keep going to 3ds instead of working on things people commonly have/use like blender?

3ds Max is what Disquse was the most familiar with to create a plugin, that’s it!
We are accepting contributions if anyone wants to make AnimKit compatible with more 3d modeling software.

Hey! Can you show your 3Ds Max’s scripts startup folder and full path?
Should be something like this: ...\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\scripts\Startup
