I have been experiencing increased frequency in crashes. The most common is adhesive.dll!CreateComponent crashes. I haven’t been able to sit in a server for longer than 30 minutes at a time in maybe 3-4 months.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Reverted Windows 11 to Windows 10 via SSD Secure Erase and Fresh UBS Boot/Install. This means fresh installs of both GTAV and FiveM. Checked all PC components, especially the RAM and the SSD.
Followed forums here where the suggestion was to change the UpdateChannel=production(or canary or beta) I’ve tried every version, the crashing persists.

This sounds weird and confusing but I disabled the setting “Fix ‘UI lag’ at high GPU usage, but may cause reliability issues with GPU crashes (requires retstart)” under the Game tab. I haven’t crashed from this error since. (Still crashing due to early-exit trap and having client connection issues but thats neither here nor there)
Try this and let me know if this helps at all. I’m curious to see if this default setting is genuinely causing some of these issues or if it magically went away around the same time I toggled this setting.
It doesn’t help, the problem started after updating Windows, I tried reinstalling Windows and the same thing (on the old Windows build, this was not observed). There are also micro freez in the game, I don’t understand the reason.
The micro-freezes are V-Sync, activate it or deactivate it in your gta settings, well for me it fixes it every time. Hope this helps for the freezes at least
I keep getting these crashes on FiveM and RedM seemingly out of nowhere. Clearing cache helps and you can play in server from 2min-30min but the crash inevitably happens over and over and over. No solution as of yet
Hey, I noticed that you are on a 13-th gen Intel CPU (i7-13700k). This CPUs have a known issue, where high voltage gets applied, causing sometimes permanent damage to the CPU. It causes weird crashes in many games, and we haven’t been able to find a reason for this crash, so I’d call it “weird”
This issue is sometimes mitigated by a BIOS update, but not always. I just want to check if your BIOS is up to date. Can you press the Windows key and R on your keyboard at the same time and in the box that pops up, type dxdiag and press OK. It should open a window similar to this, please screenshot it and send it here:
@xStrawbree If you don’t have the Shure MOTIV App:
I took a quick look at your crash dump and saw that you have Medal.tv installed. That app is known to cause crashes, but only for some users. Can you try fully exiting Medal from the system tray and see if you can play FiveM normally.
What would you suggest I use to clip instead? Medal is the most reliable clipping software I’ve used, I’m a mod for my city and need to be able to clip things. Just looking for alternatives.
I disabled and closed medal and it’s still happening.
I’m crashing every 20-30 minutes sometimes more frequently. It’s impossible to stay in city at all at this point.
