Been playing on fivem since a couple of years, but have found there to be general lack of jobs like prostitution etc. While the base GTA game has a lot of prostitutes and you can also pick up one, it’s very hard to roleplay as one.
I wonder why that is the case? I’ve always wanted to roleplay as a prostitute for hire and with the right erp emotes and peds, it can be quite realistic. While playing fivem, you get to see prostitutes at every street corner anyway
Because people would have to code the functionality.
And tbh ,it seems no actual programmer really wants to spend their time on those types of scripts lol
I have seen a lot of rp servers with erp functionality though and some of them do support custom peds from GTA. Finding servers with both is the challenge
Because people probably doesn’t want to, or want streamer safe RP tbh.
ERP is a very sketchy thing considering there is a heavy amount of underage users on the platform
Under age users are of no concern, thebase game, and therefore the platform we use, are for adults only anyway. It boils down to nobody wants to make a prostitution script. If you want to do prostitution roleplay, there’s servers where you can be the prostitute ped, and I’m sure they have stripper emotes and the like. There’s no reason to write a script for something that is already in the game.
I have seen both Pimping and Hooker scripts a lot. You can find quite a few paid scripts if you dig a bit. They just recently got good, along with train scripts. But with all of the recent YouTube changes, servers with streamers tend to not use them because streamers tend to get demonetized. Some purity BS…
Sexual content is not allowed on many platforms for obvious reasons.
E.g. Tebex has it written in their “Acceptable Use Policy”:

(meaning you can’t actually sell something like that there which people simply ignore like the copyright stuff, but that’s another topic)
Youtube and Twitch don’t allow nudity or sexually “suggestive” stuff. Although I am unsure how far that concerns GTAs “sex in vehicle” where there is no nudity at all?
That’s not entirely true. At least this heavily depends on the country. In Germany it is allowed to play a game that is rated 18 and above. It is just not allowed to sell it to someone below the age of 18. So if someone gifts it to you, be it your mom, friends etc. that is entirely legal here. Albeit with the implication of monitoring your child of course.
Other concerns are especially regarding the “custom” peds that are released here every few weeks. Let’s just say that there is more than one reason why there are no children in GTA. Or why they are invincible in other games etc.
I literally have written my own resource related to this but it’s on ice for now. Tebex AUP and concerns regarding minors just made me stop development.
I think ERP is very similar to sexting or phone sex. As a User you need to be aware that there is no privacy. No FiveM Server is a “Safe Space” to have cyber sex. Admins are gonna watch any player at any given time. We once had a “private dance” between two users (one male, one female - obv x.x) and one of our admins found them doing naughty stuff and yeah… It was kinda cringe ._.
We do have a running “strip” club tho but thats another story i guess.
Yeah, ERP is cringe NGL. I won’t even add ERP emotes to RPEmotes nor will my staff help people with them lol

A lot of people play fiveM for the gangs and gun fights, but if I wanted to shoot people I would rather play Apex.
Except, not really. but thats due to how GTA works. To get them properly in the game, you would need to code the logic for them
Actually I was referring to me picking up one of the prostitute peds and using erp to roleplay as a prostitute. That works!
