Warning texture script_rt_dials_race was set to a compressed texture format

recently all these warnings started popping up on my server in the console i am guessing the new fivem update started warning us about this stuff

how do i fix my vehicles so that it won’t send this error anymore?

Guys, try to change the pixel format from DXT1 to A8R8G8D8 and the mipmap to 1.

I have the same issue and just changing tha format it solve.

Yep, you need OpenIV for change the pixel format, I miss that xD

yea ive been slowly changin hundreds of vehicles manually its extremely annoying… i hope dev’s know for the future they need to do this.

haha the people i work with put about 600 custom vehicles in the server and almost all of them send this error

yeah I’ve done about 1000 vehicles so far one at a time its ridiculous, I hope the people making these cars from now on knows about this… and its not just cars… .some interiors have issues with this too

how you do that ! can you help me ?

  1. Get OpenIV, turn on edit mode.
  2. Open the .ytd in OpenIV
  3. Search for scr
  4. Any script_rt textures that say something other than A8R8G8B8 need to be changed to it by right clicking the texture and choosing it from the dropdown then save.

Often times they are DX1 DX5 etc but thats wrong. For this texture they need to be uncompressed.

the only solution is to manually edit every single texture for every vehicle and interior on your server

Find my release for DDSRemap on the forum, the latest release automatically leaves script_rt textures uncompressed.

I have this early exit trap error and i got this when i look at crash logs and in the first line it said the same with bad tool or something but I can not figure out how to fix it i have done all what is stated on google and youtube like reinstalling everything etc etc but none works
