vMenu

driving me crazy, so i want my users to use certains things, im getting to grips with the permissions etc.

However I cannot remove the Dev part for users how is this set please.

They don’t need to see any of this I see its under Mislenous but how to complete remove for normal users

You can also set this in game settings under Keybindings > fiveM > look for Vmenu keybinds and set it there

All of a sudden as server owner I can not summon player to my location. Anyone I summon all go to one postal tho. Very strange

Same here man. I thought it was just me. Natives must have changed. Hmm.

Let’s hope that gets fixed. I can teleport to players just fine still tho.

lol its only happening on one of my servers and not the other one… weird

No there is no way
unless you can somehow import

Hello, I am requesting some assistance. I made a few custom groups. Like group.certciv & group.owner, However, These groups to not work. Whenever I log on to my server to try permissions, I get permissions for all the groups. I made “group.owner” the only one allowed to use godmode, However, I don’t have that group set to me and I can still access godmode. Any reason why?

Hi, are you sure you don’t have the owner group (i.e tried to print an ace check)
Otherwise make sure the permissions are successfully loaded (by checking the console for any message that could indicate that they are not loaded)
Also might be worth checking if there is no weird heredity set

Someone can help me with vmenu api to discord role?

I found a strange behaviour with vMenu in my server, looks like it somehow changes how the physics work…
I tried to spawn in the bmx bike and jump without vMenu enabled on my server, the bike jumped like 0.5m
Then i tried the same thing with vMenu ensured in my server but thjis time the bike (bmx) jumps like 1.5m.

This is very interesting, as a Handler this could lead me to do handlings that feels in a certain way on my server but different on the prod server.

Could I have some insights on this behaviour of vMenu?
I can assure you is completely set with Default options and nothing has been changed.

Script is really nice and i liked it but you have to optimize it as much as u can because it’s taking 0.60 ms on idle and while using it goes to above 1.00 - 2.00 which is extremely high… Please solve it asap

I need this too asap for my server

vMenu v3.6.5 (September 2024 Update)

Thank you to all the contributors that have helped bring new features into vMenu and helped keep vMenu up to date with the latest DLC content

Aside from the DLC updates, a lot of new functions have been added to vMenu:

  1. Player-based custom categories for saved vehicles and characters.
  2. Boat Anchoring - You can now anchor your boat within the Vehicle Related Options menu.
  3. Blood Options - You can now change the blood effects on your character within the Player Related Options menu.
  4. Custom Vehicle Colours using RGB values (its own item - not replaced)
  5. Changed the way you toggle vMenu/No Clip - It is now keymappings based. (Clients/Players can set their own keybinds)
  6. Other misc related changes.

Keymappings

For server owners that are confused as to how keymappings work, or think they have problems with changing the keymappings keys in the permissions.cfg file, please research how keymappings are used.

The keymappings keys set in the permissions.cfg file are not permanent, they are used to set the default keys for players that do not have keybinds setup on their client for the resource.

For reference, if you join your server before changing the default keymappings values in the permissions.cfg, and then change the keys, they will not change on your game as they have already been set to the previous keys, only new players will have the new keys by default.
Either, change the keybindings manually in your FiveM settings under Keybindings → FiveM, or change the vmenu_keymapping_id value in the permissions.cfg file to something different (this will set the new keys as the players defaults).

Multiple servers can have the same vmenu_keymapping_id value.

For Example:
If you have a keybind set to “F1” using the vmenu_keymapping_id value of “Something”, if other servers are using the same vmenu_keymapping_id value, your keybind will be “F1” on all those servers, if another server is not using the same vmenu_keymapping_id value, your keybind will be the one you set up for that servers vmenu_keymapping_id value (or it will be the default server keybind if you have not changed your keybind)

Edit: Sorry for the long explanation of Keymappings, I have had many people ask why it doesnt work, and have had to explain it multiple times. So I decided to add this here for future reference.

Keymapping Values
vmenu_menu_toggle_key - Default “M”
vmenu_noclip_toggle_key - Default “F2”
vmenu_keymapping_id - Default “Default”

If anyone has any questions regarding Keymappings, Please ask here, I am sure there are other people that will be able to explain how all this works better than I can

If anyone faces any bugs or has suggestions/feedback regarding vMenu, Reply to this message!

Cheers!

have you added the new plates in this update? it would be nice to use them

Is that from the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC (mp2024_01)?
Or from another DLC?

@XdGoldenTiger [Suggestion] Add new license plate types to vMenu vehicle options · Issue #407 · TomGrobbe/vMenu · GitHub

basically these! [FREE] Custom License Plates and Patterns (OP)

Oh flip
Appveyor didnt copy over the vMenuClient.net.dll file to the built zip.
We will fix that asap and re-release 3.6.5
Should be fixed in a few hours.
Sorry guys! You can still download the source and build it on your own IDE for the time being.
If you cant do that, you will need to wait until the build gets patched

Oh while we are here do you know if that weather fix got put in for the snow or was that just on FiveM’s end with the new game build introducing that new weather type. Where it would crash if we put snow lol.

The release has been fixed, sorry about that!
