So I know the rules were recently updated which disallowed real car brands, clothing and all of that sorts, along with design copyright which disallows debadging of cars. My question is with LEO dev parts such as whelen, nforce, and other companies, are devs required to now use all lore friendly dev parts or can these lighting accessories be debaged and used?
Nothing has to be “lore-friendly”.
What I meant was no-named or generic brands, I use lore friendly since its easier to get what im trying to ask off, with cars such as Pegasus or Grotti which are obviously gta v cars and noted as “lore-friendly” cars
They can’t just be rebadged as was stated in the last (Community Pulse - October 2023 Edition). They need to be changed as well to not match their IRL variants exactly.

Pretty much yes. You could change up the ones you bought. Take the badging/logos off and alter the shape of the lights a bit. The copyright/trademark protections on stuff like that aren’t the same as vehicles as vehicles have silhouette protections. Just make it demonstrably not the name-brand’s exact copy. This may not be possible for you if the models are locked or the maker prohibits making changes to their work.
