Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? dont use one and windows defender is already disabled
**Did you start Rockstar Games Launcher not as admin?**i never launch it as an admin

I am also installing for the first time and I am having this issue. Stuck on “starting IPFS discovery”.

for me i restarted it a couple times and it eventually finished that but i just cant get past updating game cache

I managed to get to the end, but Rockstar are stopping RedM now for new members. You just can’t log-in.
