Information

Unlock a new level of control over your in-game camera with the Enhanced Camera Control script. This Lua script, designed for FiveM using the CitizenFX framework, introduces a dynamic camera locking mechanism, enhancing the cinematic and immersive experience for players.

Features

  • Toggle the camera lock on and off using the /lockcam command or the assigned key (default: + key).
  • When the camera is locked, it maintains a fixed position relative to the player’s heading and pitch.
  • Use the /lockcam [height] command to set a custom camera height offset.
  • The default height offset is 5.0 units, providing flexibility for players to customize their camera experience.*
  • The script registers the lockcam command to the + key by default. Players can customize this key mapping based on their preferences.

Usage:

  • Execute /lockcam to toggle the camera lock.
  • Execute /lockcam [height] to set a custom camera height offset.

Installation

  1. Download [bs_lockcamera] from the provided link.
  2. Extract the files into your FiveM server resources folder.
  3. Add start [bs_lockcamera] to your server.cfg file.
  4. Restart your FiveM server.
