We have all had to deal with servers where the seatbelt takes us out of our immersion :cry: , for example our character is expelled by the windshield when braking for no reason :fearful: , or when skidding and ending up in an electric pillar on the side of the vehicle your character is projected by the windshield instead of a side window :sleepy: and many other shitty things…

This will not happen with this script !!! :ok_hand:

Description

This script adds an ultra-realistic safety belt to your server, and this safety belt respects the laws of physics.
In case of an accident without the seatbelt, your character will be propelled through the windows of your vehicle if the impact is strong enough.
There is an indicator light when your belt is not on, you can change the control to set and unset your seatbelt in the pause menu and the indicator will not show up in pause menu.
You can easily change the logo of the indicator light in the files (it is a .png)
You can easily change the settings in the config.lua and there are translations in English, French, Spanish and German.

I advise you to watch the video, it shows the functionality of this script.
Players can change the key for the belt in the pause menu, the light doesn’t show when you are in the pause menu (the free scripts I could test don’t have this).
And following the message of a member I will add a feature in the next update that will allow the police to know if someone doesn’t have his belt.
If you find a free script that meets your specifications I understand that you do not want the paid script, for my part I have not found a free script that meets my specifications which pushed me to develop this script.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to install this script on my server.

Common Errors

Error parsing script / Failed to load script

Your server artifacts are likely outdated. Update your server to version 5181 or above.

You lack the required entitlement to use

Try restarting your server and make sure your server license key is correct. If you bought the resource on the wrong account, you can transfer it to another account on keymaster.

Failed to verify protected resource

Files were possibly corrupted during transfer. Ensure hidden files are copied; the .fxap file in a protected resource must be included. Some FTP programs skip these files.

Isn’t this just the same as a free seatbelt script?

Hi,
It’s not the same script at all, there is a consideration of the physics of the vehicle and the character is not projected in the same way.
Moreover the system that recognizes a shock is made in a totally different way (with derivatives) and allows not to end up through the windshield for nothing.
I’m going to add a cheaper monthly version so that everyone can test the script at a lower cost.

I mean its cool and all. One feature though if you’re going to have it paid is make it so that it detects for LEO when someone is not wearing one and it props up a notifcation saying that Driver/Passenger etc isn’t wearing seatbelt in XXXXXXXX (license plate) vehicle. Like some other scripts have that are free. If you really want to make it worth it. LEO detection based on Emergency Vehicle class for ease rather than dealing with ace perms or jobs or other identifiers for the LEO.

Looks the same as all other seatbelt scripts, free in Github, which calculates actual direction where ped should be thrown. Saying it’s different and obfuscating the code really helps you sell a potentially free script.

your server actually needs a seatbelt? I’ve never once been ejected from an accident…how would I actually turn that on? Sounds fun

Hi,
You can use a free script if it works good you.
I created my script because i tested a lot of free seatbelt scripts for my server and there was a lot of problems with these scripts.
I you find a script that works fine for you and that is free it’s nice but it was not my case.
And i’m obfuscating because if i don’t do that other people will buy it and sell it with highest price with no support and no update (it already happened with my others scripts).

Hi,
You just have to buy on tebex, after that you download the script with fivem escrow system and you ensure it in server.cfg after placing the resource in your resource folder.
When you enter the car you will have a logo saying you don’t have your seatbelt, just press k to set/unset your seatbelt.
If you have an accident without seatbelt, you will be ejected.

I have watched the video, I don’t see anything different between this and a free script.

The majority of the differences with a free script are in the detection of the shocks and the projection of the character, indeed with the free scripts the character tends to be projected without reason or not to be projected whereas it should.
Also there is the way of projecting the character which changes, in many free scripts the character is spawned at the front of the vehicle during a shock even if it is a side shock.
The goal of my script was to apply physics principles in order to have a realistic rendering, the shocks are detected via derivatives and a calculation of the G force is done.
During the shock the script determines the direction where the character should be projected and applies the right speed in the right direction to maintain continuity.
No script in free access allowed to do all these features in a correct way.
Afterwards, if a free script is enough for your server, great, but some people pay for this script because they have a specification to respect that they can only validate with this script.

$20 for a seatbelt resource ? the only difference i see between this and the default one with qb is that it automatically comes off when exiting a vehicle but thats not worth 20 bucks

Hi,
there is a discount at 12.98€ at this time, and you can buy a subscription to pay the script 2.99€ monthly (if you want to test the script i think it’s a good option to take it for one month and buy the script if it suits you).

You are not one of my regular customers so I will explain the advantages of my scripts,
firstly I do support all my scripts, so if a problem happens I will patch it quickly for everyone by making a free update.
Secondly I add features throughout the lifetime of my scripts, one customer already asked me to add an indication for law enforcement to detect if a player is not wearing a seatbelt.

But no one ever gets ejected from cars during an accident in my server…so why would someone buy a script to prevent what doesn’t happen already?
