What did you do to get this issue?
I hosted a server, with the correct ports open (I hope) and then gave my IPV4 address to my friend to use direct connect and it couldn’t find the server, He even restarted it a couple of times.
What server did you get this issue on? No Server.
CitizenFX.log file
(unable to post - too many characters)
.dmp files/report IDs none.
So I’ve wanted to make a server for FiveM to play with friends right? So I’ve done everything correctly (and it works because I can connect to it via LocalHost)
When I tried sharing my IPV4 Address with my friends they couldn’t find it even after many attempts to restart FiveM (and me restarting the server). I’ve Opened the following ports on my Router (Which is an Apple AirPort Extreme) 30110-30120 . Any help would be nice ![ ](https://forum.cfx.re/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=12)
does canyouseeme.org say the ports are open?
No it doesn’t. How can I fix that? @Painwithin

You need to enable port forwarding on your router.
I have done that already (image 1 shows it) but I guess thats not working?
Are you giving them that 192.168.0.146 address? That is a private IP address only accessible from things connected to your router.

Ok, so what do I need to give them? And thanks for the quick replies!
Bear in mind: I am using an Apple AirPort Extreme Router for this ![ ](https://forum.cfx.re/images/emoji/twitter/confused.png?v=9)
Go to the link above and provide them with the public IPv4 address. It doesn’t matter what router you have as long as it enabled port forwarding.
Ok, and What are these ports that I should open?
(And for example I’d give them this address: 109.106.59.***:30120 ?)
Update: Or should I keep the same ports that I have (30110>30120) Open?
My server only has 30120 open. The heartbeat talks outbound on 30110, so as long as outbound isn’t blocked (it probably isn’t), you’re fine.
Also ensure antivirus is off if you continue to have issues. Some AVs have a firewall too.
Ok Thanks. Please check if this is correctly open:

And If it is, I just share my IPv4 Address to them with the :30120 on the end?

Alright Then, I’ll keep you updated if it works or not ![ ](https://forum.cfx.re/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=9)
So I gave my friend the IP Address which I am now going to publicly share [REDACTED] << and he couldn’t find the server. What the hell is going on? I feel like port forwarding broke on my Router or something…
If it doesn’t show up on the can you see me website, it’s not properly forwarded. Adjust settings until the website says 30120 is accessible.
Thats quite hard to do considering its an apple router. I’ll send you a screenshot of what I have done so far:

That private IP address appears incorrect according to the screenshot in the first post. It should be 192.168.0.146
Ok, I’ll change that now and see if that works.
Other than that I have no clue. It is 100% an issue with your port not being opened. Either your computer’s local firewall is blocking something, your antivirus is blocking something, your router is blocking something, or in rare cases your ISP is blocking something. I’ve only port forwarded on my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter, and I don’t home host my fivem server. I’ve never touched an Apple router… I tend to avoid devices with fruit on them.
