Hello, I enjoyed the original FR fuel so to see FRFuel+ being created was a glimpse of happiness to be sure! My only issue is, for reasons I can’t comprihend, it doesn’t want to load out of the box. Well, I say that, but it’s trying to access the server via client that it says it can’t find frfuel+ in the resources. So, I’m wondering if maybe the file structure is suppose to be changed? All I did was take frfuel+ out of the zip, drop it into the resources folder, put it in the server config, and it won’t accept it. The only thing I can think of, is that the __resource.lua is in the wrong place. It’s in the dist folder.
Did I end up downloading the wrong release? XD maybe.
I thought I did. But I’ll try again. XD Github is kind of confusing sometimes for me.
EDIT: clears throat We’re uh, we’re going to pretend this never happened. Great release! looks away slightly ashamed of my own idiocy that’s happened twice now on FiveM
Ok! Here’s a question. What is the fuel, er, variable, thingy that FR fuel uses? Like, I want to use this HUD that references legacy fuel and change it to FR fuel’s fuel readout. For my understanding, the legacy fuel is always about 30% less than FR Fuel’s readout. So I’m thinking it uses a different like, variable thingy?
Sorry I’m kind of new to coding in Lua and stuff. And the main info on FR Fuel+ is encoded in the DLLs XD So I can’t exactly reference the code.
In terms of money surely not in the plans, it’s a standalone script, not intended for frameworks like ESX.
I do have a Russian version of it, you can DM me and I’ll send it to you.
nice work
I dont know if you want to continue to work on this script. If you do i would love to see the reverse on low fuel removed or at lease removable in the config. it is the weirdest thing i have ever seen XD
The reason i think it is totally weird is that the car actually stops working when it runs out of fuel. i just never gets down to 0 because it becomes undrivable before it reaches that point.
ty for your response. I am disagreeing tho. just a bit. I got an older version (that works fine) with Legacy Fuel. with this version of the script there is some code in it witch removes the weird reverse part. i dont know if that part of the code can be used with this script tho.
