Rediculously slow downloading of missing assets on startup

Up to date? Yes, played game for about 20 minutes vanilla beforehand
Legit or Pirate copy? Legit

Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? No, doesn’t exist yet

System specifications HP Elitdesk 800 G1 SFF, Intel Core i5-4570 cpu (3.2 GHz, 4 CPU), Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
What did you do to get this issue? Installed Redm and ran it, takes about 10 minutes to install 1 megabyte, says 2.4 mb/s.

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? No, ensured the client had firewall permission, which it did.
Did you start Rockstar Games Launcher not as admin? Launched as administrator

Also add what you already tried so far. In the time its taken to write this post, take the screenshots, etc, the game has downloaded 175 mb out of 4919. I’ve tried giving all the permissions i was comfortable allowing, and its still crawling at like 0.01 mb/s, Let me know how i could speed up this download.

I have the same problem, The download just seems to freeze for no apparent reason, I have tried Disabling firewall and antivirus etc, re-installing, but nothing has seemed to work, I let it run overnight and finally it finished after a 10 hour period, but then the same problem happened again when I tried to join a server and it was downloading things for that
