Newspaper - Written Expression
The “Newspaper” script introduces a fully interactive and immersive journalism system to your FiveM server, allowing players to engage in a structured and dynamic newspaper operation. This script consists of four primary roles: Manager, Editor, Printer, and Distributor, each contributing to the creation and distribution of newspapers within the city.
Manager: The Manager oversees the entire newspaper operation. They are responsible for hiring employees and assigning ranks, such as Distributor, Printer, or Editor. In addition, they have control over the company’s central cashbox, where all revenue from newspaper sales is collected. Only the Manager can access and manage these funds. They also set the newspaper price, directly influencing the company’s earnings.
Editor: Editors have access to a detailed and intuitive newspaper design interface. They can create, edit, and save newspapers, ensuring high-quality content for the city’s residents.
Printer: Once the newspaper is finalized by an Editor, Printers take charge of production. They print physical copies of the newspaper and hand them over to Distributors for city-wide distribution.
Distributor: Distributors play a crucial role in ensuring the newspaper reaches the public. They deliver newspapers to various distribution boxes located throughout the city. These boxes feature a dynamic fill indicator: red for low stock, yellow for half-full, and green for full capacity. This visual feedback system helps Distributors track the availability of newspapers in real time. Additionally, they receive rewards for successfully restocking newspaper boxes, encouraging active participation.
Server owners have full control over customization, allowing them to fine-tune the experience according to their needs. Whether adjusting the distribution system, modifying rewards, or enhancing visual elements, the “Newspaper” script provides the flexibility and realism needed to create a thriving media landscape in your FiveM server.
