Hello,
Here is one of my scripts.
Helicopter radio controlled platform is a script which allows to move the helicopters on the floor with a radio controller.

Setup:

  1. Place helicopter_rd_transport folder in your resources folder.
  2. Add ā€˜start helicopter_rd_transportā€™ to your ā€˜server.cfgā€™
  3. If you have customs helicopters on your server go to the line 318 of the file ā€˜main.luaā€™ at helicopter_rd_transport/client/ and folow the instructions
  4. If you want add this script to a menu config the registers events
  5. Start your server

How to use:

  • To do spawn the platform tap the command ā€˜/start_transportā€™
  • To delete the platform tap the command ā€˜/stopā€™
  • To attach or detach the helicopter press ā€˜Eā€™
  • To move the platform press the arrows
  • Press ā€˜Tā€™ to connect and disconnect

Would there be away to make it so it could only be used by a job/role like airport job staff member instead of just anybody being able to pull it out and use it. ? :slight_smile:

Do you think you could modify this resource to control a drone or any flying object for this case?
I have tried but stumbled upon some issues.

so, i found something interestingā€¦if i pull out the platform and climb on with ā€œjumpā€ key, then shoot my gun, it drives me around like an npc taxiā€¦maybe this glitch could be turned into something useful?? would love to see what you or someone could do with that

I have been using this for a while now and it has worked great with zero issues. Now anytime I do ā€œstopā€, the transport does not disappear anymore and will not go away. Any fixes?
