Hello again, I made a post at FiveM Client Support section but I got no help at all so I am making a new post with additional information and videos at FiveM Server Development section.
I want to report and fix an issue that I am having and apparently only affects my server, it’s about “desync” with other players, but it’s more like the server misinterpreting the position of the cars.
Before showing the video you have to know that the server is localhosted, I am joining the server directly (127.0.0.1) and my friend’s connection and mine is so high, so the ping is really really low. Also, the “desync” happens even with only the default FiveM resources running.

I didn’t post any detail because the pinned message at FiveM Server Development doesn’t say anything about it as FiveM Client Support pinned message do.
If you say me what information you need just let me know and I will gladly give it to you.
What could be causing the problem? I would not like the thread to be closed with no solution. Especially if the issue is not related with my client nor my server.

I am still having the issue and that is one of the latest things I have to fix before release the server.
I am asking you about the same thing because you are the only staff I see here and the problem appears to be on your FiveM Project as it is not related to my installation/version/platform/resources/etc, so I would like to know if you are working on fix it or you at least know where the problem is.
I have tested it in 2 different servers and got the same issue, I asked my friend to try it and he has the same problem too in those 2 servers in addition to my server.

Most servers “don’t have” or “don’t report” the issue? Since most of servers are RP, “no one cares” about this issue and all we have in this thread is a guy reporting the same issue.
Also, since it doesn’t occur for me either no matter on what server I play, even with artificially induced latency, it can’t be fixed.
If it occurs or not to you doesn’t matter at all, this is an issue that exists, and if you doesn’t see it it’s maybe because you are not replicating it properly or because we are not understanding why it happens. If you are not able to see it and you are really interested in see what is going on, I can help you test it without problems.
Don’t feel like I wanna fight you or anything, instead of that, I wanna help you to fix the issue.
… but didn’t you say yourself that it doesn’t happen on every server?
I said that the issue “is not happening on another different server” that has nothing to do with “every server”. The second video is a cropped clip from YouTube, so I didn’t test it personally on that server and all we can know from that video is that the issue isn’t apparently happening there.
Also, again: sure an issue may exist but it not happening means I can’t collect data or diagnose such an issue at all
That’s true, that is the reason why I personally proposed myself to help you, so please, if you want, tell me everything you need and I will do everything I can from my part to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Hey did you ever get an update on this or figure it out yourself? This is the only post i can find regarding this issue and it’s been a problem for me almost since day one. If anyone has a solution to this I would be very thankful.
