why so more expensive for open source … i get charging a little more but not 3 times more lol maybe $30 not $60 lol

There is a couple of reasons for it.

  • You get full access to the code
  • To prevent leakers from buying it (those that really wants it, would buy it). Sometimes, they are also cheaper, just gotta watch for discounts and sales.

It has also been discussed, if I should change it or not. So it might be something that will be changed in the future at some point. But as we speak, it remains.
