Important parts

What is the issue you’re having? My game downloads assets in servers incredibly slowly compared to my usual download speeds.

What are you trying to do? Play in servers without textures dissapearing due to them not downloading quick enough.

What have you tried already to fix the issue? Reinstall, optimize settings.

Error screenshot (if any): -

What did you do to get this issue? Recently moved up to windows 11 and got a new pc, and this issue occured.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful! NewdayRP

Additional comments

Using a VPN seems to fix the issue for fivem, but slows down the rest of my pc, so I’d rather not use one.

Still no luck regarding this! Tried changing proxy settings too but hasn’t improved it.

maybe they dont have that much bandwith on their end on the server idk

It’s only me experiencing this issue. Others have no issues regarding this

maybe the peers between ur provider and theirs aint that good idk
for example i got a really nice server in middle of Europe. Around the whole EU i got latencys between 5-12ms but for some reason ppl living right besides the server or somewhere else in Germany using Vodafone as provider have 20ms+; thats cause my Provider does not have a direct peer with Vodafone.

Somewhat unrelated but maybe you understand what i mean

Possible fix: write in windows search command prompt and run in as administrator. after its open write this in it: (ipconfig /flushdns) without the (). After you’ve done that it should say: ‘‘Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.’’ Next you want to write this in: (netsh winsock reset). It’s going to tell you to restart you PC, so do that. You can now try if this fixed the download speed, but if it didn’t, once again open up command promt as administrator and write in: (netsh interface tcp show global), if Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level is set to anything else than normal the write in: (netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal). Then check if its now normal. This should fix it as it did for my friend.
