I very much agree with you- this is FiveM, usually, not always, but usually- you roleplay on here and without interiors it is next to impossible. How is it fair to call it life-time, to sell a product that in the future- wont be enough? Is that fair to those who go out of their way and spend A LOT of money to support him as a creator? It’s not like those people who go the extra lenght to spend that much won’t need interiors in the future? If something they are the ones who really believe in the project and they are rewarded how exactly?
There needs to be at least some sort of deal for those who originally contributed with a lifetime pledge so that it at least doesn’t cost them as much as it would for anyone else. Because, how is it fair, that as soon as interiors drop- the lifetime owners (ie. the big buyers) are already in 100€ and then have to go on the normal plan. So essentially what he’s selling is a 3 to 6 month pass for 130€? Because hopefully one or two interiors will be done by then- or even sooner. And let’s say it is 6 months till the first interiors comes (ie. the time the “lifetime” pass goes obsolete), just subscribing like anyone else would be 10€ cheaper- and that is if the first interior update doesn’t come until 6 months from now (which would be a heck of a long time). There is therefore absolutely no way to benefit from the lifetime pledge (because this is FiveM and we mainly RP here right, and interiors are therefore a necessity!).
People who believe enough in his project to be willing to spend 130€ up front shouldn’t be played a faul but rather be rewarded.
To be clear, I have not bought the lifetime pledge- I have a normal subscription but the lack of (any) interiors got to me and eventually, after the creator said he wasn’t gonna do any compatability patches with works from creators such as G&N, I decided to take matters into my own hands and do it myself with the little I have to work with.
*That is unless there is a way for lifetime owners to get interiors another way, other than the subscription- a way which will reward them and not further screw them over. Which, maybe there is plans of, I do not know. I just thought it was fishy!
Exactly my point, maybe you should’ve opened with that. You made it seem as if lifetime buyers had to go and subscribe afterwards to get access to interiors. But I assume you’ll have to sell the interiors in packs to them because individually- if you were to charge a otherwise reasonable amount of money for them, you’d still be screwing them over because the subscription would be lots cheaper for quite a long time. Now that isn’t necessarily your problem because as long as you can deliver your promise, lifetime access, you’ve done your duty but your still capable of screwing them over whether it’s unintentionally or intentionally, I’ll assume the prior but it doesn’t look good anyway- as you can see by the discussion you’ve sparked.
The only question for me is that, will there be discounts for people who bought the lifetime? I understand that, based on the amount of hours you put, 130€ is a fair price, and I already bought it.
At what point did I say, that you said that. I said that you made it seem that way- and that I obviously weren’t the only one to think that. I haven’t bought your lifetime thingie- I simply dove into the conversation that had sparked on this thread- that’s all.
