I get that error as well when running the .exe file.
thank you for feedback, now the things are clear, that is because I’m building this script with debug mode, so it depends on the debug version of C++ runtime, now I just need to rebuild it with release mode and it should work.
Here is the rebuilt files in release mode.

Now it loads but shows the This ASI plugin does not claim to support game build xxxx error. Tested on 2699 and 2802.
Edit: Dunno what happened but I must’ve done something wrong when I installed the mod because it works now. Thank you so much for this.
Oh and don’t forget to install it the same way as the first post. I’ve tried to export without dropping the mod in the GTAV folder and it crashed before starting.
Edit 2: I get black screen videos whenever I set the ingame resolution to 4K. Does anybody happen to know any fix for this? I also tried DSR but didn’t work.
I already added the new files but now i get this every time i try to export a video, does anyone know why?
I already solved my problem with the crashes, only had to change the preset file.
Although now there is another problem; every time i export it in 4k i just get a video with black screen and background sounds. (just like him)
someone can help?
I figured out that the black screens are caused by the Render Resolution setting. Setting it to default while leaving the In Game Resolution to 4K solves the issue. However, the videos still render in 1080p and doesn’t seem to have any differences in quality.
Little edit: Tested on build 2802 and 2612. Thought it could be related to the latest build but it doesn’t work either way.
Make sure you’ve installed it properly and try a different codec (preset). Crashes are still a common thing from what I’ve seen.
Understood and thanks for answering me, from what i saw when i rendered the video in 1080p there was no difference between shooting something with EVE and without it, i didn’t really see a quality improvement as there is still the same “blurry” contrast with the weird dark tones and low quality.
Apparently in 1080p the only thing that is added is the motion blur and those who have made videos with such definition and quality is because they used 4k
Tested on my PC and this issue is recurrence, I reported this issue to the EVE author, hope he can fix this.
I hope he gives you signs of life, the last thing i heard is that he has been out of the community for centuries, i imagine that he already has a family and everything lol
any solution ? screen downloaded from your last link
Here is a tool to generate the preset.json
gta5-extended-video-export-config.exe (122 KB)
tnx
preset.json (464 Bytes) try this, add in eve folder (subprocess) its like default preset v0.4.4 for higher bit-rate change crf to 0
Thanks Citinez. Dunno why I didn’t think about checking the logs. I assumed the mod would read the preset.ini file instead of the .json one.
Now we must figure out how to set the output resolution and we’ll be good to go.
for example:
in desktop 2560x1440 in game 2560x1100(windowed borderless 21:9) and i get source mp4 with 2560x1100
Excuse my ignorance, but I think I’m missing something here. Windowed Borderless does not come up in the advanced graphics section. I can only see Windowed, Fullscreen and Exclusive Fullscreen. I’ve tried windowed on 4K but it still outputs 1080p. Did the same thing with fullscreen (which I assume it’s Borderless because the game stays focused on the background) and did not work either.
I’ve also realised that the render scale stays on 1080p despite the display resolution being higher, but increasing it causes a blackscreen in the exported video.
Could you post a screenshot of the video properties/details please? I’d like to see how yours looks like.
This is the Windowed one on 1080p
And this is the 4K (Display + Render Scale)
Edit: Fullscreen ones stay in 1920x1080 (clarifying just in case).
hmm try default fullscreen
