Who are we?

HighLife is an established roleplay community that was founded on the 26 of January 2018 aiming to bring a optimized, logical and enjoyable roleplay experience to the FiveM platform. Written completely bespoke HighLife offers a level of individuality rarely seen within the FiveM roleplay community.

HighLife aims to be realistic, meaning we try to keep everything within the lore of the Los Santos and the Grand Theft Auto universe. We’re always scouring the wiki to see how we can relate new features and ideas with existing lore.

Some Statistics

Collectively, players have played for a total of 154,786 hours, equating to over 6449 days, (17 years!) in the real universe, over 27,000 unique players since launching back in 2018 and over 126,000 speeding tickets costing a total of $28,330,807.

Additionally, HighLife has over 2000 active bans, 510 of these are automatic exploiting bans with the anti-cheat being able to detect many common methods of cheating within FiveM i.e memory exploiting. While this may be looked on as a negative trait, HighLife and it’s staff continue to be active in moderating across multiple servers, making sure all players are abiding by the rules and playing fair.

This not only allows for better roleplay between new and existing players but also improves the overall experience we aim to deliver.

If you have been banned in the past and are seeing this post, we actively encourage players to appeal past bans as we understand people make mistakes and may want to be apart of the growing community.

Developer?

Since starting HighLife back in 2018, I have still to this day been the sole developer of its code base. With that being said, whether it’s programming, map editing, vehicle development or simply moderating, we’re always looking for talented people to help out with the project, currently we are comprised of a staff team of around ~18 people, one main developer and one main map developer.

If you feel you can aid in the development and bring a new set of skills to the team, feel free to drop myself (@Jarrrk) a PM either in the HighLife Discord or here on the FiveM forums.

Please note, this is a community effort, do not contact me with paid offers or negotiations of pay for work, this is not only against the FiveM TOS’ but something HighLife and its team have no interest in.

Honestly i have no idea where to even start.
Highlife has been the best server i have ever played on and have had a blast on here!
All the custom jobs are really awesome and even have ranking systems! Custom features like every atm working to check your account balance, withdraw money and deposit money. Not to mention the community, it’s one of the best communities i have been part of!!!
I played HighLife since day one and had to quit for quite a while for personal reasons but now getting back to it it was mind blowing, all the customs scripts and how the server works is just unbelievable. Economy is one of the biggest things that i like, it is pretty realistic and you may not get every car, house or whatever it is in just a matter of few hours, you actually have to roleplay to get said things which i really like.
I would reccomend HighLife to anyone who really likes roleplaying!

Here’s an end of May statistics update since posting back in January,

• We’ve grown to 6 servers, with an average queue of 5+ people per server
• To date, we have had 41,972 unique players (that’s a 14,953 player increase in 4 months)
• Total playtime has increased by 326,286 hours (54 years in total!)
• The total value of speeding tickets currently stands at $154,970,066

It’s been a while, here’s a statistic update since posting back in May,

• We’re currently maintaining two OneSync (64 player) servers with incredible client performance
• To date, we have had 72,853 unique players (that’s a 30,881 player increase)
• Total playtime has increased to 803,947 hours (91 years in total!)
• The total value of speeding tickets currently stands at $292,577,371

Great server, good people, I have over 500 hours in the city and have noticed some things that are putting it back and things that jarrrk has done to make it great, I am a normal player and have no connections with staff or any people known, I have noticed that some very strange things happen like I’ve seen clips of the admins spawning in atomizers and also seen some of the streams from the content creators and one time I was watching a cop and he was just so frustrated to seem like he was talking about the admins because they do whatever the fuck they want, I seen the POV from the cop and it looked so un fun. I really do like the server just hope that more of that dosent happen behind the curtains.

High Life is a great server. I’ve recently hit 50 hours play time. There are lots of great opportunities for RP that Jarrk has helped create.
