This script allows server owners to control the visibility of the minimap for players, whether they are on foot or in a vehicle. With simple configuration options, you can decide whether the minimap should appear while walking, driving, or both. This adds a customizable and immersive experience to your FiveM server.

Features:

Configuration Options:

  • showMinimapOnFoot: Set to true to show the minimap while on foot, or false to hide it.
  • showMinimapInVehicle: Set to true to show the minimap while in a vehicle, or false to hide it.

  • Create unique gameplay modes with no minimap for vehicles.

Installation:

  1. Place the script in your server’s resources folder.
  2. Add ensure toggle_minimap to your server.cfg.
  3. Configure the showMinimapOnFoot and showMinimapInVehicle variables in the script to your preferences.
  4. Restart your server to apply the changes.

Default Behavior:

  • Minimap is hidden on foot (showMinimapOnFoot = false).
  • Minimap is visible in vehicles (showMinimapInVehicle = true).

Notes:

  • The script dynamically updates the minimap visibility based on the player’s state (on foot or in a vehicle).

It seems that the script is only for the minimap and doesn’t include code from me, he’s just using my HUD in the picture.

Yea saw that, prior to that someone told me they thought it was my script included but they didn’t download and check.
