[Free] North Yankton Enabled

Would it be possible to make the North Yankton “DLC” work with this? It was a cool project I used in Story Mode but I think it would make North Yankton better in FiveM.

Updated the resource to load an ipl not loaded in bob74_ipl, reorganized the code in general, and added traffic and some other changes. Added credits to thank everyone who has helped or shared something that went into the resource.

We’re going to be trying to include some form of Cayo with this resource in the next release, to move away from dependency on CayoTwoIslands-YanktonCompatible.

Once we make the change, we will keep the CayoTowIslands repo up as an archive in case someone prefers that over the version we release.

Has burger king and I assume other ToS violating content. Wouldn’t really be something I look into.

Map in North Yankton has been updated with ThePlayaJam765’s recolor after getting permission to include the files.


Attempted to use modified water.xml but it seems that the water outside of the main area/cayo is capped at a certain height.

If anyone has suggestions, I’d be open to anything. It seems like Cayo and NY are technically out of bounds of the water.xml or any other file handling water?

Edit: this is an attempt to “add” water to the river.

Small Update:

Our version of CayoTwoIslands has been further updated, I’ve removed some stuff I felt was unnecessary, which should (marginally?) improve performance sometimes, although it wasn’t too bad before.

Additionally, Cayo-NY and North Yankton now make use of an export to detect whether someone is in North Yankton, to disable Cayo-related AI pathing and other things. This seems to have caused some weird behaviors with vehicles spawning/ driving in North Yankton that you don’t experience with only the North Yankton Resource.

If anyone still experiences that, let me know and we’ll look into it. Thanks to @Manason for help with that :+1:

Hoping to fix the map/zone display and have a way for people to log in and out in NY without falling from the sky soon.

Thanks to @TheIndra and @SqrlScripts for their work on adding persistence for North Yankton. Now, if you disconnect in North Yankton, you’ll reconnect in North Yankton.

We don’t currently have support for multichars/frameworks (all your characters will be in the bucket if you disconnect and reconnect), so it would be a massive plus if someone could make the appropriate changes for their frameworks of choice. :+1:

Do you mean in-game? The config has the vector location for the teleporter.

The North Yankton - Previous Generation HUD. After I removed it, my game stopped crashing.

That’s likely an issue with some other file/resource. All this is is a map file that’s replacing the base map.

Yeah it could be something with that, could be the without snow mod i use. I can’t wait for his North Yankton 5.0 version release when it comes out. Gonna have peds and traffic and other stuff.

I’m confused here, what North Yankton 5.0 map? Our map already has traffic as well.
