But a little gold is always appreciated, so you can also get it for as much as you want on Tebex.
Open source is publicly available code that is free, your “open source” version is not free. Therefore it is source available.
and
What exclusive features? as everything listed in the description is exactly what ox_target has for completely free.
ox_lib is used by over 50% of servers with greater than 8 players (according to txAdmins, txTracker), and in this case ox_lib is a free resource intended to be used in other resources, where as you seem to be forcing a paid dependency with a single use on to your other resources with the only way of not needing to dependency to pay 3x the price of the original resource for the source available version to use something different…
From the post it just sounds like you’ve placed some generic menu sound from google to play every time you hover over an item.
shouldn’t be a paid resource especially a paid resource costing £13
In that case, yes, it’s source available. I’ll change that.
You have the ability to set names for entities and models, whiches will be displayed upon opening the menu. You can also offset the indicator, which you need to aim to interact.
And from what I can see, you can’t differ interactions from outside and inside a vehicle on ox_target.
You can also open the menu by triggering an event with interactions as arguments.
That’s why i made it dependency free, to reach 100% of servers.
Yeah, cool. No one is going to buy this no matter how much you try to sell it. People will always go with the free version because there is just more support and more to work with. I’m not even sure what went through your head when you thought of doing this.
While I share your opinion about this resource, you are somewhat mistaken about open source. Open source programs are free as in freedom not free as in price. Sometimes they are both. But usually they are referring to what you may do with the source code.
“No dependencies” is likely a conceit. No, you do not need to have ox_lib or any other libraries. They’ll be happy to write something that only this resource (and others they may release later) may use and make sure you pay for them.
honestly while im not speaking for everyone i don’t see the value for this when OX-target and Qb-target are free and do / can do all of the same things with modifications let alone work out of box with alot of pre existing scripts and other core components of a server in a day and age where other scripts are encrypted as well you may not have access to make this target menu compatible with other things on top of the steep pricing . yes its standalone but to be real to benefit from this to its fullest you’re likley going to need the source. Which again is overpriced . Can you explain to me the value outside of it being standalone and besides it looking okayish cause even then there are cheaper to free interaction menus like SB-interaction and IIRC source is mostly open for $17 and looks better and again other free interaction menus which arent the standard. overall while its nice its just overpriced and i cant find the value in it
We didn’t know about all these scripts. All these returns made us review our distribution. We’ll reduce the price for sure. It may even become free or directly integrated in our other resources.
We listened to all your returns and decided to make an exception for this resource, so everyone can enjoy it and discover our work. EXPLORE Target Menu is now free.
We’ll be glad to get more insights from you, here or on Discord.
If you like what we made, you’ll find more of our work on our website.
scrap your target menu and offer a config option for qb-target and ox target.
then maybe , just maybe add the option to use your target system.
problem solved.
I’m not sure to understand, but the Target Menu is standalone. That means that you can use it with any frameworks and no dependency. You can even use it for something else than roleplay.
Btw, scripts that are offering to switch between frameworks are most of the time not optimized. The best thing to do would be to make separated scripts for each framework. Or, make integrations editable (You can find examples in our other scripts).
no body wants to change theyre entire targeting system to accommodate for your script.
You realize people buy many cfx encrypted scripts that have ox, or qb target options.
meaning … i would have to get rid of countless locked scripts , edit the open scripts , and change my entire target system out … just to use your script.
its an unnecessary push to uses your target system .
