[ESX/QB/OX] Weed Growing - Create your weed empire

Introducing weed growing.

This script allows you to delve into the life of a weed dealer or grower.

It offers different growing options and a wide range of configuration options including props, time and positions.

The script stores all data using .json files so it doesn’t overload your database.

You can grow them outdoors or indoors in pots.

What are the advantages?

Growing outdoors
When growing outdoors you only need water, but weed grows slower than in a pot and the reward can be adjusted by giving less grass from the final product.

There is more chance of someone finding your weed and stealing it.

Growing in a pot
Growing in a pot is more challenging as you need to keep the plants warm and light, but it also gives you a greater reward and is quicker than growing outside.
At the same time, you need to keep an eye on the temperature and light.

It can also be grown indoors as weed supports the routing bucket.
And also can be limited.

Seed dealers can be set up differently across the server.

  • They are synchronized for all players equally.
  • Can spawn all or a specified number in config.lua
  • You can set the price per seed.
  • You can set the number of seeds a dealer has.

What can I set?

  • Props that will respond for interaction.
  • Minimum requirements for light
  • Minimum requirements for heat.
  • Minimum number of water used.
  • Growing time for grass
  • Adjustable prop for each condition or interaction.
  • Adjustable weed field size.
  • Adjustable number of weed per field.
  • Adjustable rewards for growing outdoors and others for growing in a pot.
  • Adjustable items for actions.
  • Adjustable terrain and if you want to expand the terrain just stand on the terrain where you want to enable growing and put /weedGround and then copy to config.lua
  • Unlimited light options - You can add exports, props, names and items.
  • Unlimited fan options - You can add exports, props, names and objects.
  • Adjustable number of seed dealers, price per seed and number of seeds for each dealer.

And the best part at the end?
The entire BRIDGE for communication between frameworks is completely editable. in pls_weed/BRIDGE/

Why don’t I support qtarget?
Because qtarget itself on github says to use ox_target and at the same time installation is easy. Just delete qtarget and drag and drop ox_target.

ROUTING BUCKET SUPPORT

What does that mean?
If you are using IPLS or interiers that are in the same position and you only change the routing bucket, the weed is only displayed in the routing bucket where it was planted.

The concept behind this script and its realistic portrayal in-game is impressive, especially since I am both a licensed grower and a FiveM developer. I can discern the effort put into it and foresee the considerable potential this script holds. It marks a commendable beginning. Great work!

Can you grow in MLOs?

Hello,
pots can be planted in mlo(anywhere you can), but if you want a classic weed that is set in the wild you can also extend the classic weed in the config.

Can you add animation with props when using water and fertilizer?

  • Now you don’t need target everything you need is set in BRIDGE/config.lua.

is it possible to plant different types of seed?

Hello,
the script only allows for two types of cultivation.
Multiple seeds are not supported yet.

But for each type of cultivation you can change the weed.

Out of the weed scripts I’ve seen so far (about 8) this looks the most promising.

Add support for multiple strains and you’ll have a winner of a resource.

Biggest “win” for me is the fact you can limit weed, if only that could be set to the player, generally, rather than ONLY the area.
