Recently, both CFX and Teb.ex have made changes in their approach to copyright infringing material and intellectual property. This has caused confusion within the community.
Six months ago, the GTA 5 RP server for rapper ‘Lil Durk’ was suspended due to Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive’s crackdown on NFTs and cryptocurrency. Take-Two stated that they would focus on loot boxes in GTA 5 and take legal action against the exchange of cryp.tocurr.ency and cry.pto assets like N.F.Ts. The server offered custom events, challenges, and in-game items through the OFT Gaming website hosted on Teb.ex. However, the server was asked to cease operations for review by Take-Two and Rockstar.
Since then, there have been concerns and speculations about the future of FiveM, but the Cfx staff has given vague responses, waiting for an official statement from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Recently, both CFX and Teb.ex have been cracking down heavily on copyrighted material and intellectual property rights, as stated in the Community Pulse.
Teb.ex clarified that no references to brands, franchises, trademarked names, or logos should be included in pack.age names, descriptions, and images. This includes any content belonging to Rockstar Games.
CFX has promised to provide more information on policy changes “soon”, but no concrete and publicly available details have since been provided. There is a need for clarification and a public statement regarding these changes.
If a post has been, again, I believe it has been very vague and unknown of.
