Okay, so all of a sudden my FiveM installation disappeared, out of nowhere. So I went to reinstall, now all of my permissions on my computer are completely messed up. I can’t save ANY files to my downloads folder. So I did a restart, tried again, and the same thing is happening. It installs, then removes itself after downloading about 1GB of files, and then all of my permissions get broken and I can’t download anything or move any of my files until I restart. I would really like to play FiveM again.

I use Avast, and it isn’t my A/V. It would give me a notification if it were blocking anything. This isn’t the first time I had this issue, but last time a simple restart fixed everything.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Uninstalling reinstalling ain safe mode out of safe mode using revo unistaller . went into stream on the game to see if i could get back my files it says it worked but i open five m and it says i have missing dlcs. I cant open gtav itself it gets stuck on starting up. I have no acess to anything my permissions have disappeared. My startup on my pc is black and takes a long time before letting me in. I cant play anything. my hardware is all in tact and updated drivers. my computer in only 2 years old prebuilt I BUY TOWER. I cant even open my task thing thats hows me wheat i have open. i cant change anything on my computers firewall because it says i have no permission. EVEN THOUGH I AM ADMIN. cfx has ruined my pc.

Have you checked if your antivirus is quarantining these files? It seems weird that files are just disappearing

You say it isn’t but try disabling Avast and seeing if issue still occurs
