Also add what you already tried so far. had RedM on my Computer until yesterday. I deleted and downloaded it again, because the only thing i could see after start was the mask of RedM (didn’t make a screenshot, sorry!) Couldn’t see the server list or anything else… so i decided to delete it and make a fresh download. But now i get this error.
When i try this link in the message (mirror) i get a “403 forbidden”

And the next question: in the left upper corner…why is it russian or something like that? I am not russian…

Tried it without Antivirus (Bitdefender) but get the same message…

If there is a Topic with the same error, i am sorry, i could’t find it.

Sorry for my english, it is not my native language :upside_down_face:

:mascot:

I get this exact same issue as of today.

So i didn’t get an answer here or on reddit and i postet it this morning on Facebook and got the following answer. Don’t know if it works, because i didn’t try it yet (it’s up to my friend this weekend… )
But maybe it works:

“It’s FiveM api they went to the apache port 443. Try opening that port”

If you are faster on trying it, let me know if it works :slightly_smiling_face:

Fixed mine by disabling firewall.

i disabled my firewall and couldn’t fix it…

The problem is Bitdefender, I have it too and I had to basically disable it… look in quarantine for a file it might have put there but in the end Bitdefender and gaming is horrid from my experiences.

yes, i know. a day before Bitdefender put everything of RedM in quarantine… i allowed everything, that was the first step. Didn’t work. Then i deleted everything of RedM, had the fresh download while Bitdefender was disabled…i don’t know why it didn’t work for me. But i think my friend will have a look tomorrow. Maybe he can see more then i do…
So you can install RedM again?

And did you ever have the issue with the blank Client? Means i couldn’t see the server list or anything else. Just the backround. This was the reason why i wanted do reinstall RedM…

Yes I had the blank client like you described. I’m also confused how earlier I got past the “Starting IPFS discovery” and now it’s stuck at a full bar and nothing happens. Not sure if I should reinstall RDR2 or what at this point.

it sucks… i tried it again and i can’t get RedM.exe to run…disabled everything on Bitdefender.
I will ask my friend tomorrow, he knows, what to do. And if he can’t find a solution, we will ask his friend. He is IT-specialist. He should know, what to do. I will let you know what works at least.

I’ll let you know also if I come across something.

I got it to work by using the following steps:

Ditched Bitdefender (It’s been a pain in the past not just now)

Uninstalled RedM
Uninstalled RDR2
Installed RDR2 in a totally different directory
Started up RDR2 ONLINE mode, went on RDO for 1 min then logged out
Installed RedM and watched it update the cache and everything else

RedM now works flawlessly so I hope that helps.

Thanks, i did nearly the same now…i dont have Bitdefender anymore, because it caused many other problems the last days…i get on RedM now, i can see the server list, but i cant see my server… so i asked for help on Zap now (where i got my server). I think they will help and hopefully i can play the next days… i think it is a Zap thing now, or it really has something to do with the port. Becaus they had an update on Monday and this was when most of my problems started.
Thanks for your messages and i hope it will work for you now! Have fun!
