Hello all! I’ve been searching the forums for a LC map mod and cannot find one. I’m curious if this is against any TOS policies in place. I see plenty servers using the map but no one selling it here. I’m very curious. If someone could help me out that would be great. Thank you.

Rockstar doesn’t want people stealing there assets and posting them for free or making a profit of them. Rockstar owns FiveM so it’s there rule not that hard to understand.

Just because someone else breaks the rules, doesn’t mean you should. Their time will come.
Thats a damn shame they would do that. Adding it in along with GTAV’s map already makes it unique. Coulda made for some cool RP servers and or race servers.
i know servers that have had it for years now its a rule that doesnt really matter they dont do anything about it

This is a year old post replying to someone who isn’t active here anymore. And yes, reporting people for violating the terms means it’s a more equal platform for the people who do follow the PLA.
It’s “just video games” is not a valid argument.
I’m not the one who is so self entitled that I believe the rules don’t apply to me and can’t see beyond my own selfish desires how this affects other people.
I hope one day you create something to sell and everyone rips it off and uses it without paying you for the work you put into it. Then tells you to shut up because they think you are entitled and it’s just a video game.
Well to be fair, it does fall under the piracy subject… Liberty City is not part of the GTA 5 game files.
You’re redistributing a ripped asset from another game and porting it to another without the express permission of the original creator / publisher.
To be more specific it would be closer to the term “softlifting” from this page.
And to be unfair, its people here who report threads the second they read something that doesnt align to their opinions. CFX has turned into hall monitors and tattletales. So delete this too

No… there are tons of posts here critical of Cfx and FiveM with lots of things you can be rightly critical of.
Breaking the terms of service by ripping off other peoples work and crying about why you should be able to steal and use work that you don’t own and didn’t create is not the argument you think it is.
