Addon Weapon Audio

This resource will provide 13 “WeaponAudioItems” which you can use on whatever gun to your liking. These consist of 7 pistols, 2 LMGs, 2 SMGs and 1 rifle. The original XML files will be included for both the audio metadata files and the audio container, so you don’t end up with hashed names and you can still change things however you want.

If the demand is there and people have proper suggestions more entries will be added to the same package. So once bought always bought. The price of the package may or may not increase over time.

So this changes the gun sounds and those sounds are server sided??

looks fire, well done

Yes, these get streamed from the server out so everyone hears the same thing.

Is there any way we can add our own sounds? I have a good sound pack that I wish was server sided like this.

Well you can further edit the XML files, reference how I did it and go further. Copy paste would probably get you pretty far. Or if you don’t want to edit the audio metadata you can always just replace the sounds that are in the AWC. But this work is very tedious and I would suggest that you get a basic understand first using [How-to] Make a SimpleSound using native audio or any other informational source.

Or I can do it myself, but I doubt that I could get the rights to use the sounds in your pack by the original owner. Again, suggestions are welcome and I could try something.
