Blaine County Sheriff’s Office is hiring officers that are 18 years and older for all shifts! Some exceptions apply with extended interview process and recommendation.

All hiring besides the initial Discord application is done in-city and in-roleplay, which allows everyone to stay immersed and spend more time in the city.

As of this posting, quite a bit has changed in our city. We have recently moved to a completely customized version of the latest QBCore framework, as well as completed a complete city wipe on 1/1/22.

We relaunched with a full realistic economy, with new features and activities released regularly based on player progression and all done in RP. The next major release will be the first phase on drugs, and bank robberies.

Now is the perfect time to get in before we go full whitelist, and you get to start at the beginning of a new wipe!

Community Manager

We are looking to bring on a Community Manager in the more specific sense of the role. As we start to grow, this position will be important in interacting with the community in Discord, Social Media, and in city. This is an important role in the community that will work directly with the leadership team and development team. This role may even be split amongst multiple people. Some of the more specific responsibilities will include:

• Interact with community for engagement, feedback, and growth.
• Assist new players and provide information about the city.
• Engage with the community and post on Social Media (Twitter, TikTok, Youtube, Twitch, etc.).
• Work with development team closely to visualize and share roadmap/release schedule for community.
• Provide announcements and updates to the community including issues, events, partnerships, and new features.
• Follow up with community and players with major bug fixes / feature requests.
• Coordinate with supporters, business owners, and whitelisted gangs for feedback and balancing.
• Coordinate meetings and community events with staff, whitelisted roles, and community members.

Developers

As our community grows, we are looking for additional developers to join our team with experience in the following areas:

Drug Sales and Weed growing have been released with this update, this is Phase 1 of our Drug Processing/Sales with more to come SOON

Weed Planting

• 6 different strains of weed can be grown anywhere there is suitable soil
• Different soils require different products
• The type of soil will affect the rate of your plant’s growth
• Plants take roughly 1 hour to grow
• Plants have a probability to be infected throughout their growth
• Infection can be cured with insecticide bought from the tool shop
• Plants can only be harvested at 100% growth
• Crop return will equate to the health of the plant upon harvest
• Upon harvest you have a chance to receive a seed from your plant

Best Buds Updates

• Workzone to automatically take employees off-duty when leaving the building.
• You can now sit in the chairs at Best Buds
• Commission has been fixed for employees

Drug Sales

• Look for Johnny Boone to learn how to package and corner sell your drugs
• Ability to package drugs and corner sell
• Ability to package drugs and do deliveries

Misc. Changes

• Dumpster update to now grant additional items when searching

• Decreased green dongle crypto price from 500 to 250.

Bank Updates

• Increased payouts for Fleeca, Paleto, Pacific bank heists.
• Reduced weight on stamped gold bars.
• Shuffled items around to be less weight in general for each bank.
• Updated bank cart zones to resolve an issue where sometimes you could not target the cart.

Misc. Fixes/Changes

• Updated the EMS animal job to help prevent animals from getting stuck on rocks.

PD now has a way to remove criminals from their vehicles when being non-compliant.

Health Update
STD’s have been added to the city:

• Low % chance to catch STD during ERP.
• No negative effects currently, but a notification to get treated at Pillbox will show after you fly-in if you have an STD.
• EMS has many new items to use now for diagnosing and treating STD’s for more RP interaction.

ERP

• Now relieves stress again on mini-game success.
  (Will monitor and adjust stress relieved.)

• Evidence updates to how it is created and collected to increase server performance.

Local EMS

• The staff at Pillbox have outsourced operations to locals while there are no emergency services available in city (PD and EMS).
• If no emergency services are currently on duty in city, when you press ‘G’ for help while bleeding out, a local EMS member will come to your aid.
• Players will not lose inventory when using this service. With that in mind, the price of using Local EMS is significantly more than checking in at the desk at Pillbox.

    • Higher level provides more boost but more potential vehicle damage.
    • Holding for to long on level 3 can set your vehicle on fire (loses NOS tank).
    • 7 second cooldown, can speed up by purging.
    • HOLD left shift to boost.

Refills

• Are now done at a set of tanks in each mechanic shop
  • Requires an empty NOS tank.

• Corner selling can be toggled with F1 > Citizen > Corner Selling
• Once enabled, you can flex your E muscle to call locals to you
• Third-eye locals to offer drugs
• A UI displaying the offering will display allowing you to accept/deny the offer

Tow Job

• LSPD, Mechanics, and anyone with the Tow job active have access to a “Towing Services” menu in F1 for everything towing related.
• This menu allows you to start NPC tow missions or queue up for alerts so when PD marks a vehicle you are notified (higher payouts + materials).
• The marked vehicles list will allow you to see PD marked vehicles and select them for pickup as a Tow Truck Driver.
• LSPD and Mechanics can start the tow job without swapping jobs.
• Mechanics can buy a tow truck at PDM (Flatbed or SlamTruck) or swap to the Tow job for a free truck at the towing headquarters.

Misc

• Shoulder pets have been added to the 8Bit tablet store for purchase with DEV coins.
• To use them, you can type /pets or use F1 > General > Pets to bring up the menu.
• A new robbable item has been added to safes in house robberies!

Quality of Life

• Made a change to resolve the coke and weed table issues with picking them up and them disappearing.
• Updated speed limiter (Hitting ‘Y’ now limits your speed with no up and down arrow to adjust).

House Robbery Update

• There is no cop requirement to rob a house
• Houses can be robbed between 00 and 06 in city time
• The house robbery group limit is now 3 total participants
• 100 total house robbery locations
• House locations can be requested on a burner phone every 5 minutes
• You don’t need to request a house to rob one, this is just to help you find them
• Tiered housing system added
• Interior, searchable locations, and loot in houses range between tier 1-6
• High end houses can’t be broken into with an advanced lock pick
