My name is Marvin from ZAP-Hosting.com the official gameserver hosting company for FiveM.
It came to our attention that there are a few people that are not too happy with our support staff, because they do not get enough help configuring their FiveM resources.
To be honest with you, FiveM is a bit difficult to support simply because there are a lot of different resources/scripts. And yes, this is one of the many things that FiveM so awesome. But 90% of the FiveM support requests by our customers are related to resource issues or questions. ZAP-Hosting is renting ~ 11.000 services (VPS, Gameserver, Ts3, Webspace, etc.). 1800 of these are FiveM gameservers which make up about 16% of our services. But even then, 80% of our support requests are FiveM related. And that makes our support break out in sweat. We have already doubled our support staff capacity ever since we started offering FiveM.
But currently we do not provide any customization of FiveM servers or “please check why my 100 different FiveM resources do not work” service until now!
We want to change and offer free resource installation options and the ability to help our customers customizing their FiveM products.
Why we don’t provide custom installation service right now?
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer this with our 8 full time supporter specialist here in the beautiful place of MĂĽnster, Germany.
In a response to this, we have programmed a home office support system in the past few weeks. This allows us offer remote job positions without posing a security risk to our customers.
Looking for FiveM technicians:
With this being said, we are looking for people with a high level of expertise to configure various popular FiveM resources (ESX, Dunko, etc.).
Working at ZAP-Hosting:
- As a ZAP-Hosting FiveM supporter you will work at your home office. It is the same from where you are. We are fine with any nationality. Your English skills must be acceptable, at least as good as mine - and that’s not too difficult
- You will be paid for each ticket answered. If you get a good review, you’ll get more.
- Customers will be able to pay a tip by PayPal, what will be paid directly to your PayPal account.
- You decide when you are working. You can answer tickets at any time of the day as long as you have time. You should have time at least 7 hours a week.
- You need a headset.
- You handle support tickets and you decide, if the ticket will be forwarded or escalated to 2nd level support due to a urgent or global issue.
General conditions:
- You need to provide a identity card/document to verify your personal details
- You need to be at least 16 years old with a confirmation of your parents or 18 years old without a confirmation
Skills
- Resource installation and configuration skills
- You have some experience setting up servers (ideally Linux and Windows) and connecting them to a MySQL database
- Good English typeface
- Love to help other people configuring their FiveM servers
Security:
All home office supporters will need to connect to our internal VPN. Once you are connected, all traffic will be logged and analyzed. You will be an open book for us during these sessions. This is necessary to protect our customers. As a hosting provider we have to fulfill some requirements in Germany.
We would like to build a home office FiveM support team of up to 7 people. If one of these home office experts stands out from the bunch, we are also very interested in offering a group leader position. Of course a permanent position with a fixed monthly salary is also possible.
