I’m trying to set up a server with Zap Hosting and I saw the memory boost option. I don’t know if the server will be laggy without it. I set it at 8GBs and wanted to know if that’s more than enough or if I need to buy more to avoid the lag issues.
Zap hosting servers lag not because of a memory issue but more because of completely over-saturated hardware. Chances are it will have no real effect because even at 128people you won’t be using more ran 5gb of ram from the server, in a normal environment.
