Will An FXServer Run And Be Exactly Like A Hosted Server

Hey there, I currently have a hosted server but am thinking of changing to a FXServer and running it off my own gear. My question is, will it run the same as a hosted server and as well as a hosted one does, Is there anyway I can make it so its not using my IP etc. Just really wanting to change but not sure if my server will still be as good And Able To Handle everything / run as smooth as it does now Etc?

There are many factors if you want to host your own server on your own home.

  1. Network speed (can you get constant 50+/mbps?)
  2. By hiding your ip, you can use a domain instead of using 0.0.0.0 in your config file.
  3. CPU/Ram Performance (can you provide availability 24/7 or as long as you want your server to run?)
  4. Power surges / Power Interruptions
  5. It will be smooth if the scripts are smooth.
  6. But really it depends on cpu core performance and ram speeds.
