It’s been a long time since I’ve genuinely enjoyed a city as much as I’ve enjoyed Lunar Springs. Here’s just a few things I love about the city:

1. Community
I was welcomed immediately after joining and I was really made to feel apart of the community. Everyone has been super kind and helpful which really assisted me in overcoming my anxieties. It’s hard to come to a new city all on your own but everyone I met was quick to make sure I found my footing. The community is diverse and encompasses individuals from across Australia and even stretching across the pond to America and the UK.

The community continues to be a place that nurtures support, kindness and respect, even going so far as to offer a public space for people to vent and be provided with support from other members of the community, as brought on by the Admin team’s efforts during R-U-OK? Day.

2. Continuous updates
Due to the Development team working on the city full time, you can see the time and care that is poured into it, with not only technical aspects but thematic aspects honed to fine edge. You’re unlikely to find another city where the elements that come into play are as fine tuned as they are in Lunar Springs, with everything meticulously tested to ensure functionality and a smooth playing experience for high end machines and older machines alike.

Furthermore, with frequent updates, the city rarely feels “stale” or “stagnant”, and you’ll always be provided something new and exciting to do. It is plain to see that a lot of care has been placed on creating unique systems and fair, engaging activities for everyone to engage in.

3. Balance of legal and illegal activities
It is very common for cities to fall into the trap of pandering too much to illegal activities and criminal groups. This is not the case for Lunar Springs as the Development team have placed as much focus on legal activities as illegal activities. My favourite thing to do as of late is to balance the hectic life of multiple jobs at once. If I so choose, I could live a completely legal life and find fulfilment and enjoyment from doing so, and potentially earn as much as someone who relied solely on illegal activities. I can live out my entrepreneurial mastermind fantasy…

4. Outstanding roleplay
My standards for roleplay are extremely high, and yet Lunar Springs continues to meet and exceed these standards. Roleplay not only flows naturally with the way the city is set up (player-run businesses focusing heavily on interactions) but is facilitated by seasoned roleplayers who work well in guiding new or inexperienced roleplayers through uncertain interactions. If you’re just starting out and want to learn in an environment that encourages interaction, or you’re someone experienced wanting to interact with other, experienced role players, you’ve found the right city to meet your needs.

There are many more things to love about Lunar Springs. The best way to find out is to try it yourself. I think that regardless of what your expectations are of the city, you’ll definitely find something that’ll wow you.

Halloween Night Event: Undead Uprising
Lunar Springs is about to get spooky! This Halloween, prepare for an epic battle against hordes of the undead. When the event kicks off, waves of zombies will swarm the streets, and it’s up to YOU to survive and take them down. Keep track of your kills and climb the leaderboard for a chance to win some serious cash prizes.

When: Thursday, 31 October 2024 5pm AWST / 7pm AEST / 8pm AEDT

Event Details
Hordes of zombies will attack all players in the city
A leaderboard will track the top zombie hunters
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 3 players with the most kills!

Act now! Stock up on as many weapons and ammunition as you can. The undead won’t be waiting, and you’ll need every round to survive. Hit the gun shops or start farming and arm yourselves to the teeth before it’s too late!

Big Changes at Bolingbroke Penitentiary!

Bolingbroke Penitentiary has undergone a serious upgrade, thanks to the arrival of our new Warden. Known for his strict but fair approach, the Warden has already implemented a range of changes aimed at improving the prison environment and providing inmates with a path to a brighter future.

New Job Opportunities: Inmates can now apply for various prison jobs, allowing them to develop valuable skills and earn extra privileges. From maintenance work to kitchen duties, the Warden is determined to help inmates make the most of their time inside.

Improved Facilities: The prison’s facilities have been revamped to support rehabilitation efforts, including a new yard area and expanded recreational facilities to keep morale high. An infirmary is also now on site.

The Great Unknown: For those with a knack for adventure, keep your eyes and ears open. With these new upgrades, who knows what opportunities may arise? Only time will tell if escape remains a distant dream… or a real possibility.

Stay on your best behaviour, or you might just catch the Warden’s attention — for better or worse!

Attention future citizens of Lunar Springs! Our local building legends have been hard at work transforming our city’s law enforcement landscape! After months of construction, we’re excited to unveil FOUR brand-new police departments throughout the region:

Sandy Shores PD - Reinforcing law and order in the heart of the rural community.
Paleto Bay PD - A coastal stronghold to keep the north safe and secure.
Grapeseed PD - Nestled in our rural areas to support our farming communities.
Davis PD - Strengthening our presence in the southside neighbourhoods.

These state-of-the-art facilities are set to provide enhanced protection and better service to the Lunar Springs community.
