I think that every time people are finding different ways to return to the game more competitive, it seems that people do not enjoy playing, it seems that they are competing to win money.

You see this in roleplay servers on FiveM all the time, people want to play a “gangster” or a “cop” but they play it like GTA:O, they want the money, power, cars, guns and are not actually there to create a storyline or roleplay.
Players always want to achieve something, work on goals if they know it or not really…
It depends. You’ll see competitive players in either:
No whitelist or allowlist RP servers, poorly made RP servers.
Military servers such as FiveM KoTH.
Every game is always getting more competitive and it’s normal. Like nzk said, some people in RP specifically just want to have the most money, the most power, own an extremely fast car, create no proper roleplay, own the strongest guns etc etc.
It’s normal for FiveM to be getting more competitive, although, I doubt people are really even trying because FiveM requires pretty much 0 skill to even be good in 100k or die servers. Me, who just started FiveM 2 years ago, joined a 100k or die type of server and it was extremely easy, especially for people who have already played 3rd person shooters similar to GTA and FiveM.
In my opinion to improve in FiveM as a player in the case of “Shooting” and giving everything to the head, it is not easy! Since GTA is a game where you depend on many things besides your aim exactly.
I understand that a game will always have its competitive side, but there are people who go to the other extreme in my opinion!
Well, depends on what servers you play on. You need good driving for RP, logical thinking so people don’t think your a yk yk and be friendly. But for other servers such as FiveM KOTH, people are calling eachother the n-word every kill they get, training to become the best 24/7 etc etc. FiveM really is getting more and more competitive.
All of this (minus the racism and constant bad behaviour) is actually all positive for FiveM.
I’ve seen dudes on livestreams for 8+ hours just RPing as a cop (some even have the full police dispatcher gear set out in front of them…). Think what you will of them, they’re having fun and that’s all that matters.
Whether you play TDM or RP (or anything else in between), the whole point is to have fun, enjoy your time and forget about the outside world for those moments - I say good for them, hope they’re happy
