[Whitelist] Oceanview Roleplay | V3 | Permadeath | Custom vMenu Framework | Serious RP

This server is not for everyone.

If you’ve been on a server where your character died and you respawned 30 seconds later like nothing happened — this is different. If you’ve watched a server you invested months into collapse because nothing under the hood was actually built to last — we’ve been there too.

Oceanview V3 was built from the ground up. Not patched. Not updated. Built.

Your character can die. Permanently.,
This is the rule that changes everything else.

Headshots are final. Unsurvivable injuries are final. There’s a narrow exception for non-fatal events if the prior RP genuinely supports it — but the character carries real, permanent disability afterward. No exceptions. No appeals.

This isn’t a gimmick. It’s what makes every scene feel like it matters. It’s what makes players actually invest in their characters. It’s what keeps the world feeling real.

Built, not assembled,
Oceanview runs on a custom framework on a vMenu base — not ESX, not QBCore. A significant portion of the codebase was written in-house. When something needs to exist, the dev team builds it.

The gunshot wound system is written from scratch. When your character is hit, the injury is tracked by zone. As blood is lost, movement degrades. Audio muffles. Vision narrows. The screen darkens. A leg wound bleeds out if no one helps. A headshot brings TBI and blackout effects before the end. Five stages from hit to fatal. This isn’t a health bar going down — it’s a scene that unfolds in real time.

The vehicle radio bleeds sound through open windows, adjusts for weather, road speed, and vehicle body class. The DMV tracks licenses, registration, and plates through a fully custom system. Vehicle insurance uses real IC carriers with billing cycles — lapse on your policy and it costs you. The economy runs per-character, with government paychecks tied to active rank and issued every 15 minutes of real playtime.

The development team is active and the codebase is theirs. When something needs changing, they change it.

Civilians,
You apply once to join the community. After that, you play.

No civilian department. No civilian application. No training program before you’re allowed to have a car or a story. You join as a citizen and build from there — organized crime, legitimate business, whatever your character demands. Freeform from day one.

The world rotates between three Areas of Patrol: Roxwood County, Blaine County, and Los Santos County. The active AOP shifts with staff. The world changes with it.

Factions,
County Sheriffs — The only whitelisted law enforcement agency. Operates as RCSO, BCSO, or LSCSO depending on the AOP. One department, three jurisdictions. Second application required.

San Andreas Fire & Rescue — Full fire and EMS statewide. Second application required.

Rules,
Permadeath applies. Characters act like real people. Hostile RP requires genuine prior RP — no RDM, no VDM. /priority before high-stakes scenarios, respect the cooldown. No cop baiting, no metagaming, no combat logging. 16+.

Please note: Oceanview RP is an English-only server. All roleplay, communications, and applications must be conducted in English.

Join,
Whitelisted. Application through Discord — no interview to get into the community, just fill it out.
